Puts a nice burr on my cabinet scrapers. Not too confident in the hardness or durability however, as just a few sharpening sessions have left noticeable grooves in the burnisher. It's nice that it's a low budget alternative to the $25+ burnishers however it is very small, and might not work for some people. ... show more

    • Universal tool for woodworking, sharpening or metal work!
Used this tool for aiding wire inlay. Sharp enough to act as small fisheye chisel to go around tight curves. Good quality tool at a reasonable price. Tool is a very well made hardened tool for multiple uses on hardened scrapers to finishing metal.

There cheaply made. But what do you expect for the price and some of the softest stainless steel I have seen but I use them for thread so it doesn't really matter for me.

Too small and not very hard. Was able to scratch it on a scrapper while burnishing it. Kinda defeat the purpose.
