The pen that came with the note 8 snapped within 3 months of usage so I decided to take a chance with the "Samsung EJ-PN950BBEGUS" replacement pen on Amazon. Usage: I have the replacement for almost a month and so far so good. The replacement fits perfectly in the slot and when taken out of the slot, the air command interface pops up every time like the original. The replacement is very responsive as there are no glitches or lags when using it with and without a screen protector. Packaging: Small, simple, and thin box, no junk at all. Packaging was just the black box, the white case to hold the pen, the additional pen tips. Verdict: I would buy this again if needed but let's hope this replacement last more than 3 months. EDIT: As of 10/12/18 this pen still works for me and I would buy this again. 5 out of 5. EDIT#2: Dropped the replacement into the sewer when I was walking/playing on my phone. Got a replacement for my replacement on 12/10/18. Packaging is still the same as original review and works the same. Still stand by my review. EDIT#3 on 12/03/2020: A few more days and it would have been exactly two years since my last edit. Not sure who else still uses a note8 in 2020 but the replacement pen from 12/10/2018 finally broke. The stylus did not want to click out of slot and after a few minutes of trying the stylus seemed to have went even further down so I had to use a very thin fruit carving knife to lift it out of the slot. Result was that the pen was still responsive when using it on the phone but because the stylus won't click out of the slot it's useless. Overall the replacement stylus worked well for me. Who are you people who are claiming this is the OEM S-Pen? It is not. The note 8, my note 8, does not recognize its existence. It does the basics of a common stylus, albeit clumsily. I had to turn off the floating icon because the phone was always looking for it's poor little broken SPen. I bit the bullet on the $20 just because I'm trading up for the Note 9. It is extremely disappointing to see the Amazon sale page representing this as OEM, and I have no clue about the reviewers who claim it to be real. My 2 cents... ... show more

Got this in the mail today and it was suppose to show up on no day the 20th. I tested it when I got it and works exactly like the pen it came with. Product is really good and I would buy it again. I was really sketchy on buying this but I'm glad I did and the price it good for this cause Samsung them selfselfs would want more. So I give it a 5 out of 5 ... show more

I ABSOLUTELY love this! It's just like I didn't misplace my S-pen that came with my Note 8! Just LIKE it! The price is cool and the only place you can get a Orchid Gray replacement, Blue, or Gold S-pen is Amazon. Samsung only sells the Black S-pen which isn't fair, but that's their choice! How wonderful of Amazon. Here you have the "REAL Samsung Replacement" that comes in a Samsung box no less. It's just like the one I got at another MAJOR multiple outlet store for comparison purposes as I am sick of buying bad styluses and bad screens. I was not paid for this review. I bought both styluses and tested them both on my two Note 8s. There are plenty of buyer beware styluses out there, but this one I personally bought 2 of, and they work like a real Stylus should. I have purchased at least 4 (my wife says 6) styluses that were not the real deal. This one, it may be in a plastic baggy inside the box, with TIPS and a TIP remover, but who cares, how can you beat this at this price? ... show more
