So first of all I love candles!! They add class to any and every room but the sad truth is they are dangerous and you can't leave them lit. So these are precious to me. I've had other flameless candles but these are far better. You can change the brightness make them flicker like real flames. I have them spread out in my room and they really do set the atmosphere. I love the different sizes and setting. These are just lovely. I got the large ones which are 3" in thickness. They take 2 AA batteries each not included so I had to buy a big pack of batteries. They came nicely packaged and wrapped individually with plastic so the waxed wasnt chipped or scratched and yes it is real wax. Some reviews said it was scented. Mine were not, unfortunately I found out the hard way and got a nice wave of sneezes after taking a big sniff. They smelled very heavily of plastic, chemicals and wax. Not very pleasent but forgiveable. Another thing is that when you turn them on with the remote they flicker in unison so to get the real feel of individual candles I had to take each one out of the room so the remote does not trigger the other ones and set it differently so the flickering isnt timed together, but honestly that's a very minor first world problem and also very forgiveable. I might have to purchase more as gifts because I love them so much. So What are you waiting for? Buy them!! ... show more

I use rechargeable batteries and they have lasted over a month so far. They have multiple options on the timer and have a warm glow. They do not fit in all hurricane candle holders.

The media could not be loaded. Great candles for the price! One of them won’t turn on, but the rest are working great! They have a nice warm glow without too much brightness. The remote control works perfectly. Even reading all the reviews mentioning how skinny they are I was still surprised. I’ve provided a picture of them still in the box with a toothbrush for reference. Very happy with this purchase. I have provided a short video to show that these do NOT flicker like some frameless candles, but the warm glow they have is so nice that I don’t mind. Good brightness, color and flicker behavior! The remotes use CR2025 batteries which is a drag but they work. One gotcha: manufacturing is sloppy, and I received a number of candles where the power switch was reverse-wired - meaning one had to set those candles to what the switch calls "Off" to get them to turn on. Doesn't inspire lots of confidence in the QA process, but otherwise so far so good. ... show more

It took a lot of shopping around to find the perfect LED candles, and I am very happy with these. They are made from real wax and look nice. The LED light sits about one inch below the rim of the candle, which hides the "flame" and makes it less obvious that it's fake. The flickering and brightness are realistic, and they give off a warm glow. The timer function reliably turns on the candles for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours starting at the same time every day (which has been an issue with other LED candles I've purchased). ... show more

I purchased these to use in my wedding centerpieces. They worked out really well, especially with the use of the remote. However, I will say that if they are left in any heat for an extended period of time, they WILL melt and reshape. I got married in July during a heat wave and these got set into bins over the time we got married until I could gather all the wedding crap back up from family. Because they sat in cars in the hot sun, they sort of melted a little bit. They are just a little less straight and have more of a curve to them, but they all still work perfectly. Also, the remote itself works well but the candles don't all respond at once. I have them sitting on my mantle in different spots and some will turn on and others won't, so I have to turn them on multiple times to get them all on.
