Description

A semi-permanent color that is easy to apply, vibrant, lasts longer and fades to original tone. Pulp Riot uses only the highest quality vegan ingredients chosen for their reparative and restoring properties to maintain and improve the integrity of compromised hair. With each application hair is healthier allowing the hair to hold color longer. To maximize longevity of color, only shampoo hair as often as necessary and use color-safe shampoo and conditioner. Avoid saturation of hair in chlorine and direct exposure of hair to sunlight to the extent possible. Directions: Shampoo hair but do not condition prior to application. If pre-lightening hair, completely shampoo out bleach or toner. Do not mix the haircolor with developer. Apply directly from tube to dry hair. Saturation is key. Working with 1/2 inch sections makes saturation easy. Leave on hair for 25 to 40 minutes without heat, or longer if desired. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Do not shampoo. To maximize longevity of color, only shampoo hair as often as necessary and use color-safe shampoo and conditioner. Avoid saturation of hair in chlorine and direct exposure of hair to sunlight to the extent possible.

**FLY TRAP IS NOT NATURALLY THIS DARK** I’ve been doing my green hair for nearly a decade now. I’ve tried all the brands - manic panic enchanted forest, lunar tides juniper green, good dye young move mountains, arctic fox, pravana peacock, etc. this is by far my favorite — TRUE GREEN, not turquoise. I mix 2 parts flytrap to 1 part arctic fox Transylvania to get this color. It fades out to a medium green which skews blue (but less blue than other combos I’ve tried). Highly recommend. I wanted a coral color. I tried PulpRiot Sandstone, and I am very happy with the result! I had bleached my hair ahead of time - so it was pretty white. The cream was thick enough that it was easy to apply without making a mess. My hair feels soft and healthy. And I LOVE the color!!!

As far as the color itself. Great concept color. You'll need to have very light hair to see the results you're most likely looking for though. My hair is dirty blonde on top, bleached more on the bottom. Only the bottom holds color. Love Pulp Riot. But its for people looking for a more faint result. I had never done my hair green before the first picture is when I got it done several months ago and the second picture is the color it is now the whole process of it fading evey color along the way was very pretty I would definitely buy this again

This is authentic pulp riot however the bottle I received had a dry product film under the foil seal indicating that this bottle is very old. Possible expired product. It still did the job.

It covered my faded blue green hair perfectly and tinted my brown roots just enough that it blended nicely. I really love Pulp Riot for all vivid hair colors, nothing else works as well. I’d like to preface this with the information that my hair was a bleach level of about a 7 or 8 so it was fairly light. Overall it’s a pretty color and a good dye but it did not come out dark green at all.
