Well, afert 3 years and 1 month, the heater stopped working, the inner wire resistance broke. But honestly for what I paid I didn't thought it was gonna last that much, I think 3 years is enough time to say it actually works I never had problems with it, always kept my betta fish warm and on a constant temperature Just like a reference, my fish tank it's about 3 gal, glass bubble shape and has a waterfall. I took good care of my heater too, wash it, clean it and super careful cuz it's made of glass and I didn't wanted to chip it. I'm buying the replacement as I'm writing this review ... show more

This heater needed to fit into a very small aquarium which it did. You cannot adjust the temperature but it appears to maintain the temperature. I would have preferred to adjust the temperature myself but this works.

    • Nice heater, stopped functioning 6.5 months in
I was really happy with this heater! Unfortunately yesterday I noticed that it had stopped working. I tried a different power source but it still didn't turn on. It may just be a fluke and for the price I'll probably just buy it again.

During the winter our house gets so cold. We bought this heater and water temp stays warm and stable. I like the red and green light indicators. Good value for your dollar. Product is very durable and easy to install.

    • Great Little Heater!
This is a review for 25W (Under 6 gallon) Betta Heater. Our children have several Betta tanks and my husband and I were looking for small heaters. We ordered one and tried it. We liked it so well we have since ordered several more. They work good for the size tanks we wanted them for (6 gallon and under.) We have been using them for months with no issues. Heater has an indicator light, red when water is calling for heat and green when temp is ok. Keeps the water warm and our fish happy :) Suction cup stick well to the glass. Packaged ok and came on time. Item as described. Just make sure if you are looking for an aquarium heater you know the size of your tank first and then order accordingly. ... show more

    • Temp stays right where it should
I have made mistakes in the past with beta heaters that required a lot of monitoring. This heater does not need monitoring and stays right within range where it needs to be for my beta. That said I do question what the right temp for a beta actually is because they always stay very close to the heater so I think it could be more like 80 and be fine. ... show more

This item heated up our 5.5 gallon tank rather quickly. The beta has been exceptionally active since I installed it. It is nice that it only heats up between acceptable levels for betas and then shuts off when it reaches temp. One thing that disappointed me was that it advertised a free temperature strip to keep an eye on tank temp, but NONE was included in package. ... show more
