Where to begin? First off I LOVE this grill. I have a complete outdoor kitchen with Gas grill, Pellet grill and a Green Egg.... I am a grill enthusiast and love to cook. I saw a review on youtube and figured it would be great for the wife when I am not home etc... plus the griddle was a nice add on. I must say this thing is awesome!!! Never in my life did I expect to get real grill marks from an indoor electric grill but I was wrong. Not only do I get great grill marks the food tastes great! I can go on for hours about all the great things this grill has to offer and it is worth the price no matter what (if you use it as a griddle on the weekends just to make pancakes). I will simply mention a few minor cons so your expectations are realistic. The temp is good and it sears very well and like I said perfect grill marks. BUT the temp could be slightly more accurate. THe dial also moves counter clockwise and that is just a mental thing... OCD for me. The fan is great and does a good job but you need to make sure there is water in the pan to absorb the smoke. Speaking of the water pan... my only complaint it you need to remove everything to get to the water pan. minor gripe since the thing comes apart so easily. few more minor things... if you have solid surface counters like granite then the little rubber feet can slide a little. The lit fits really well and I found that if you are doing steaks or really anything it is best to preheat the grill with the lid on for at least 10 minutes. If you turn it on and immediately put your food on then it will not do a good job. Preheat is key... Finally, I would buy this again and it is really a great indoor grill. It does not replace my outdoor kitchen but on a school night or a busy week day you can grill a steak, make a burger or make pancakes in a pinch. Best new kitchen tool in my arsenal. ... show more

First I will say that I was very skeptical from the time I saw the commercial on TV, to the time my wife actually ordered this and we received it. I grill as much as I can and the ideal of 'grilling' indoors raised a lot of red flags for me. So with that said. It was packaged really well for shipping and arrived on time damage free. So off to a good start I would say. The only real assembly was the lid which was very simple. I thought it would be much smaller, but the actual cooking space was sufficient for 3 nice size ribeyes. And I do like the fact that you also receive a griddle plate that you can change out with the grill plate. The control panel is very easy to figure out. Simply turn the power on, turn the fan on and set the temperature. You really can't get much simpler than that. And it actually heated up pretty quickly. We cooked at 450 degrees and it took may 5 minutes to reach that temp. So I cooked 6 ribeyes and it took about 14 minutes for each, so about 30 minutes of cook time for all of them. It cooked them perfectly. I do have an electronic thermometer to check the temp, but there were no flare up burns or anything like that. The steaks were cooked evenly all the way through. We also put on some squash when the steaks were done and grilled that up. Again, perfectly cooked. And clean it is so easy. Put the plate, bottom pan, and drip pan into the dishwasher, then wipe the rest down. Oh, I forgot to mention the biggest factor about having a smokeless indoor grill. Does it smoke? It actually does not. The fan really does pull all the smoke in. Turn the fan off for a second and you can see what it is actually doing. This is so cool. I am glad I got it. And since I made an extra ribeye, the griddle will be tested in the moring for my steak and eggs. If you are on the fence about this, it is definitely worth it. ... show more

Bought it for just above $100 and it was a very good buy. In the highest setting it is pretty hot. The key is to preheat for a long time. Also be careful, it looks that initially it is slow but it can burn food pretty fast. I preheat it at one below highest setting, then set to highest setting one-two minutes before grilling. Then midway through cooking, i take out the heat back to one or two below the highest setting. I got these marks on my burger (see picture). The only downside is that it can tip over when you take out the grill and the heating element when you are finished. The glass cover is heavy (which is good for cooking) and when you open it the grill stays put because the griddle/grill and the hearing element is holding it down. When you take out the grill and the heating element, the weight of the glass cover is too much and it can tip over the grill housing. It would be no problem, but often we have the tray with water inside and that can spill. :) ... show more

I have used my Smokeless Grill multiple times. I so want to love it and have all benefits of grilled food; unfortunately, I am on the fence with loving it. I have owned a couple indoor grills, all less expensive than this Smokeless Grill. I can say they have grilled as good, if not better. However, this grill is better quality and larger capacity. Below is my take on the grill. 1: Originally, followed the directions with putting water in the bottom tray. The meat wasn’t getting that true grilled texture, sorta a steamed meat. Another reviewer shared he did not use any water. Since then, I no loner use any water as directed. 2: In order to get the grill affect, similar to outdoor grilling, I have found I have to set the temperature on highest temperature at all times. 3: I have not had a tissue with smoke as others have mentioned. My grill has not smoked one during any cook times, completely smokeless. :) 4: The grill is durable, attractive and easy to clean. So simple to disassemble and wash. All parts are dishwasher safe. 5: Grill is large and can grill a lot at one time. 6: For those worried about space, the grill is large although easy to store. Fortunately, I have nice pantry to store. 7: Both grill plates are non stick. 8: At this time, I have not used the griddle. 9: I feel grill would have heated and grilled better if the heating element was larger in order to encompass the entire grilling section. 10: Hope this input helps with your decision ... show more
