We had some doubts, but the unit worked very well to clean a very soiled upholstered recliner. We debated about hiring a pro for this, but instead bought this unit, hoping it would do the trick, and that we could use it again in the future for the chair as well as the occasional carpet stain. This cleaning machine is lightweight but it gets the job done. It successfully removed stains from a mattress spot cleaned a rug. Easy to use and great suction. Empty water when done and doesn’t take up a lot of storage space. Only wish hose was longer.
