Based off the reviews and hype surrounding the bissell little green (pet pro version) I ordered it hoping to clean a water-stained Facebook marketplace couch and stair runners that were dirty/stained when we moved into our place. After cleaning half the couch though I realized how much I disliked the bissell and ordered this instead. This machine fixes several of my complaints with the bissell and it managed to get every stain out (which the bissell did not). Pros to this over the bissell: 1. It has much better attachments, including a wider head and scrub brush that makes cleaning large areas much more manageable. 2. The brush heads come apart for easy cleaning (bissell does not) 3. Brush heads include a rubber scrub side and a bristle side for different cleaning needs (rubber worked better on our couch, bristle worked great for the floors and getting stains out) 4. Cleaning solution smells better, works better, and full size bottles were included 5. Spray actually goes where you think it will unlike the bissell where it was predominantly on my floors rather than the couch 6. Easy to set up and maneuver due to small size 7. Much lighter to pick up and transport Cons/ways bissell was better (or equal): 1. The shark has a much smaller water tank due to its compact size so I had to refill it several times throughout the cleaning process whereas the bissell did not require frequent filling 2. The bissell had a slightly better suction and required less force to be used to get water back up (I still felt I got plenty up with the shark however just noticed it’s not as powerful) 3. Both have very small hoses and you have to pick up /move the machine regularly to reach what you’re trying to clean which can be a pain For the price, I am very happy with this purchase and definitely would recommend it if in search of a portable upholstery/carpet cleaner! ... show more

Dont be fooled by the small tanks. I'm washing my outdoor furniture with the medium tool (I do find no matter what machine you have, I also purchased a hand held specially selected brush, to work out the dirt real good) and this machine has a very pleasant smelling soap and the extraction works great. I dont add any water on my brush, I spray with the tool that comes with it, which I really like and I coat it pretty good. The formulas last a descent amount of time. I would not say this would wash any carpet, but it would be able to get stains and areas clean that you would do by hand. This machine has excellent suction, so I worked and worked to get the dirt and water out. The water carraige had a great deal of very dirty water, but the water level is low, so it doesn't need much water to get well cleaned furniture. This patio set is about 7 years old, never washed it before and its really coming out nice. Old wear is not going to wash out but very clean, smells really nice. Now I can once again lounge outside on my beautiful furniture set and read a book. The machine itself, so easy to use and I love how each thing "clicks in" so I know it is all engaged nicely. Be sure to clean its little filter, so easy, and the rinse and go is amazing. The soap and water unit, again, lift and fill, slide back in place. It is a pretty lightweight thing and I like that it stays stationary as I use the hose and tool. It does not tip or easily slide around, which is an asset for sure. I need a small fabric cleaner and upon recommendation of a friend, I opted for this Shark Stain Stick. I can say it does an amazing job. You can see the difference between the clean and dirty side of the carpet. Our very old cat gets sick regularly and this has made a huge difference in cleaning up the mess. I have two kids who often create quite a mess, especially when they are sick and throw up on the carpet. After a significant incident, I decided to order this product due to the unpleasant smell. It arrived the next day, and I was able to absorb all the bad odor from the carpet. It cleans fantastically and is very compact with great suction power. However, it’s not as powerful as I had hoped, especially considering the price of over $100. The spray formula works well and is easy to manage. Vacuum can be quite noisy. Forget Bissell products, they are a joke and have now all been trashed. This is the best upholsterer I have ever used. My dog was sick earlier this week on the couch and I used my Bissell pet eraser thinking it would help; and I when I sat on the couch the next day there was the worst smell ever left over! That prompted me to purchase this and with the next day shipping I busted it open the moment I got it and I have never been this excited about a product before. It Literally comes with everything you need, the solutions and a billion different attachments. I didn’t realize it came with a pet mess tool and it is godsend. It has a separate receptacle to collect mess if needed to prevent from going to the main tank. I cleaned my couch and the amount of dirt it picked up was insane. My couch smells so much better and the suction is AMAZING. I’m so excited to use this in my car and anywhere else to be upholstered. To top things off, I always had a hard time with maintaining my Bissell machine but this one is so easy with after use care. You can actually take off the top of the tool and rinse out any dog hair and residue! And the dirty tank lid comes completely off so it’s easy to clean out the remains without leaving anything behind.
