It’s an easy product to use. The velcro tape helps to seal a window. If you take it to a cabin like I did, painters tape can be used in lue of semi permanent velcro tape.

I liked it was easy to install but when I need to close and lock my window is the issue. So I built a wood frame the width of the white material and the height of my window, by stapling the Velcro to the wood for easy use, so I can come and go quicker.

This really works as advertised, and so much better than what came with my original portable AC. Rather than trying to keep 2 ill-fitting plastic slats wedged in the window frame (the weight kept making it fall out), this uses velcro to hold a lightweight fabric against the opened window yet is strong-enough to keep the exhaust tube in place. Now I can adjust the AC location, or remove it from the window, and easily return it if I need the AC again. The only potential problem is that the velcro tape will need to stay on the window frame as it will be a pain to remove it, maybe even ripping paint from the wall. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The concept is great especially for apartments with odd window measurements like mine. The assembly was easy, but despite adhering to the instructions of letting it settling 24hrs after installation, it came apart that first use and continues to be a pain. I tried to secure that side that lifts with more adhesive tape but it didn’t help. I would have given it 5 stars if it actually worked all the way. ... show more

In theory it’s nice, but the hose is too heavy for the glue to hold. Combined with wind, this simply comes off and your window is not covered anymore. The glue just doesn’t stick hard enough. You end up with the window not covered and hot air entering your house. Even duct tape didn’t help to keep it in place. Worthless. ... show more

Using this fabric air conditioner Accessory was the easiest thing to do. It took five minutes to install with the Velcro tape that was included. I had to easily cut the top to fit my window. It holds on very well with the extra strap that is included to wrap around the air conditioner vent. I know it will fold up easily when I’m done and I can keep it right with my air conditioner and not misplace it as I usually do the plastic pieces. ... show more
