They are good for up to 2 months depending on how much your cat or other pets play with the fountain for things other than a drink of water. I am set for the next 6 months to a year. I bought my water fountain at Marshall’s( at a discount price). I was scared that I wouldn’t find the replacement for the filters. I’m happy that Amazon sells the right filters, and for a good price. Now my babies can drink their clean water.
