This is a decent budget set of front end tools for a reasonable price, if you just so happen to need these two specific sets. I'm not going to focus much on the ball joint press kit, because there's nothing wrong with it, but it's a pretty generic piece of equipment which you can find for sale all over Amazon from hundreds of manufacturers. The only issue with it is that it's a rather small kit, and it's highly likely that you'll need another adapter set to accompany it for many makes and models of ball joints. The bearing press kit is something I've never owned before, it's kind of unique to me, and after studying its usage it seems like a pretty smart way to pull and install press-in hub bearings without the use of a large space-consuming hydraulic shop press. The only issue with this kit is that it doesn't really include everything you'll need, because the first step is going to be removing the actual hub itself. For that you'll need to use either a slide hammer, or you can hammer out the lug studs and use some big bolts and nuts between the hub and knuckle to push the hub out. This is demonstrated in various Youtube videos if you're unsure, and not every vehicle is going to be compatible with this technique. For every other operation though, this kit pretty much has you covered, as long as the adapters happen to fit your wheel bearing. This is also a great kit to have even if you do have a shop press, since these adapters will make pressing bearings a whole lot easier. ... show more

This tool works great for ball joints and other suspension work. The tools are very well made and will last for many years to come. The cases are real nice, too. The bearing press is super useful as well. This helps remove wheel bearings in the vehicle instead of having to remove everything. Together, they save a lot of labor and time. ... show more

This has so many options in sizes to remove and install ball joints and wheel bearings. I have used this on maybe 16 vehicles so far. It does work great. It has just the right sized tube you need to remove or install them. I also like the ideal that they are in there own cases so they can all stay together. They should not get lost. As of right now.     • Superb build-quality – both sets are heavy duty, and they are heavy as well! Video attached.
The media could not be loaded. When I proceeded to lift the freshly delivered box that both of these kits were in, I thought for sure that something else had to be in the box, lol. It was much heavier than I anticipated, and when I opened the box and found just these two kits, I was a bit stunned, but also impressed. The build-quality of these tools is excellent in my estimation. I’ve also included a quick video to give you a closer look at the kits and also to weigh them so you can see just how heavy these are. The painted finishes are excellent, and the neatness of the machined and forged components, while not perfect, are good and far more than adequate for the intended use of these tools. A real give-away as to the overall quality is the weight of these kits. The manufacturer did not skimp when it comes to ample use of steel to make these tools durable – more on this in the video. Both kits come in hard-side plastic cases of decent quality. The cases keep things orderly, so you won’t need to go looking for components sloshing around in your toolbox. The current price for this combo-kit is $102, and that seems to be reasonable based on the quality of the components. ... show more

This is a review for Orion Motor Tech 34pc Ball Joint & Wheel Bearing Press Kit, Front Wheel Drive Bearing Puller Tool Set with Sliding Screws Sleeves, 4-in-1 Ball Joint Press & U Joint Removal Tool Set for 2WD 4WD Car. This kit is probably as complete of a kit as you will find. It covers so much that it takes two case to contain all of it. All the parts seem to be thick and hardened to take the force a lot of these bearings are going to take to get out. Though I had hoped more thought had been given to the hinging of the cases, one had a decent hinge but still one use the dreaded flap of plastic that will quickly, in my experience, rip off making the case worthless. I really wished they’d stop using that. Once it fails, you no longer have a secure case to keep everything together. Ultimately you will start losing parts. ... show more
