  • Haven't used this one yet
Style: Inner Tie Rod Tool
I bought this as it is the same one sold by Advance Auto for twice the price. Friends tell me it works very well when our tie rod set doesn't reach far enough to use it. I used the tool whiz one on a pontiac grandprix and it worked well once i got the hang of how to use it This one will get the job done as it seems well made.. ... show more

  • Worked perfectly for inner tie rods. No issues.
Style: Inner Tie Rod Tool
This tool helped me get inner tie rods off on 2007 Audi A4 2.0T. Center it around inner tie rod section right next to the part that screws into the outer tie rod. Tighten the two nuts on the tool snuggly. They don't need to be real tight. Add multiple 3/8 or 1/2 extensions with adapter to come out past the wheel well. Broke the inner tie rods loose with some moderate force applied. I used them to help tighten up the new ones too. Had nothing but a good experience with this little $13 tool. Sure beats trying to use a 38mm crows foot or something. "BeerWrench Garage" youtuber recommended this tool, and he was right. ... show more

  • Work great for 1992 Miata
Style: Tie Rod End/Pitman Arm Puller
Worked great for 1992 Mazda Miata to remove the original outer tie rod connectors. Popped them right off with ease in only a few minutes. No hammering or heating the tie connectors required. Solid little tool at a great price!

  • Not very strong
Style: Tie Rod End/Pitman Arm Puller
This puller would not pull a tie rod end and bent. Also would not fit over the pitman arm on a 94 f150 4x4 to small.

  • Easy to use tool for inner tie rods
Style: Inner Tie Rod Tool
This tool is very easy to use and effective. There's many options to remove inner tie rods. None are perfect and they don't all work in every situation. This is one of the many tools to do the job and it's cheap and effective most of the time. Keep the threads greased and clamp down evenly. I'd recommend this tool ... show more

  • It works
Style: Inner Tie Rod Tool
Somewhat difficult to get in place but worked exactly as described. I found the easiest way to use it is to remove the outer tie rod and boot, then slide this over into place tighten down and break the inner tie rod loose. Easy enough and inexpensive. I live in the country, so I didn't want to borrow from town then have to take it back when done. For $10 delivered to my door this was a good alternative for me. ... show more
