Needed a simple lock for my locker in the gym. And this solved my issue. It’s a simple lock if someone wanted in badly enough they’ll get thru anything. Easy to set the combo and feels sturdy for the cost

    • First unit doesn't work **UPDATED REVIEW**

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these based upon their positive reviews, but maybe I didn't read them all. I'm having a similar issue to another purchaser. I followed the provided instructions, set the lock to all zeros, pulled out the shackle and moved it to the notch at 90 degrees, depressed, entered my new combo, and attempted to close the lock, it won't. I've returned it to all zeros, still won't close. Now when I go to the "set code" notch and depress the lock, the bottom number on the combo moves. So one lock unusable, the second one worked just fine. ** UPDATE 5/15/18** Oria reached out to me about my defective unit, offered to refund or replace, I opted for the replacement. They shipped it fast, and to my surprise it works!!! Both new units work as advertised. The single unit I had purchased previously feels like the dials are a bit loose , where as all three working units are a little bit more solid. I am very very happy with the customer service Oria provided so I will definitely purchase from them in the future. Upsetting to 4 stars. ... show more

UPDATED July 28, 2017: Ada contacted me about the locks after reading my review and we resolved the issue. Turns out there is a way to completely lock yourself out of the lock when you don't turn it the right way although in my case, the lock wouldn't turn much further after pushing it down. Ada sent me a new set of locks along with pictures and directions on how to reset the combination which worked out perfectly. I have attached the pictures if anyone needs help with resetting it like I did. Thank you so much Oria and Ada. Your customer service is amazing! ORIGINAL July 21, 2017 | I received both locks and they seemed sturdy, both opening with the "0000" combo. I tried to reset one of the locks and to do so, you have to open the shackle and turn it until it fits into a smaller slot to set your new combination. When I have the shackle pressed down and turn it, one of the numbers on the locks turns with the shackle. When I finally got it to stay in the small slot, I set the new combo, then released it so I could test it out....only to find that the new combo didn't take and "0000" doesn't work either. So now I have one lock that doesn't open to any of the combos I can think of. I even googled how to hack into a lock... it definitely doesn't feel easy to set a new combination. I'm not sure if this one is faulty or I had a hard time with the directions but now I have a lock that doesn't shut. I'm leaving one star because the other lock can still provide some protection (if at all) with the 0000 combination... the lock works, but changing the combination has been an awful experience ... show more

Works as intended, easy to unlock and easy to turn the knobs. Setting up the code was simple enough if you follow the instructions, the length at which the metal loop rises and descends into the hole is smaller than most of the previous locks I've used but appears secure. When I first took this lock out of the package, I found the instructions for setting your own combination to be very confusing and was unable to do it. I ended up using the lock on the factory setting, and it worked fine. After the initial use, I tried to set my own combination again, and the lock went haywire. The numbers on the dial started rotating when I rotated the shackle, and the lock started jamming in either the locked or the unlocked position. I just hung it on the locker to at least give an appearance that it was locked, and the body of the lock completely fell off the shackle. A rare case when a product is not just of poor quality, but a completely and utterly useless piece of junk. Wish I had tested it within the Amazon return window to get my money back. ... show more

I have been using these outside for a couple of months now, and they work very well. The only watchout for these locks is that they need to be used where you have plenty of access to turn and see the numbers while the lock is closed. I am using these on chain link fence gates, which points the numbers to one side of the gate. If I'm on the opposite side of the gate (away from the numbers), there's barely enough play to turn the lock enough to see the numbers. ... show more
