The battery is still going strong even after our winter storm, so the cold does not affect the battery life.. You can add more then 1 finger print which is awesome due to having multiple kids!! Highly recommend

My first suggestion would be for the developer to get a professional writer that speaks proper English and rewrite the instructions clearly. Right now the instructions are total garbage and incomprehensible. The fingerprints, key and App unlock functions works well. HOWEVER my biggest issue is that after you unlock the lock with the App, you have to touch the lock in order to connect it again to Bluetooth. That means you cannot unlock the lock remotely again unless you touch the sensor first to connect the lock back to the Bluetooth. This makes the lock useless to use the remote functionality the next time as you have to touch the lock each time to “wake it up” to connect it again to Bluetooth so you can unlock it remotely again. In other words you have to physically touch the lock to reconnect it to the app and Bluetooth each time you use it remotely else you can’t use the remote function again until you touch it so it can reconnect to the Bluetooth. This makes no sense to me to be able to use the lock remotely the next time. Why is this called remote if you have to touch the lock to connect it? Why would you need to unlock it remotely if you have to touch it. I tried the FAST CONNECT button as well but I still need to get close to the lock for it to work. I now see that the lock needs a Bluetooth device close by to work as opposed to using WIFI which would make it work no matter what. (If you read the product descriptions it’s actually listed in the description that this is how it works. Mr. Seller/Developer please respond if I am wrong or explain how I could use the App remotely a second time if I’m not close by to touch the lock). I also thought I could remotely lock it but that’s not possible. Oh well not a big deal because the App shows the status of the lock as open or closed. Thats fine! So the lock did not serve my purpose. I wanted a lock that I could unlock at a distance but unfortunately this is not it. However, I can see how this would work for others, its just not for me. I am returning this lock and I CAN’T RECOMMEND buying this. ... show more

    • Remarkable achievement; excellent product
Previously I purchased a smaller fingerprint lock from eLockSmart and it was, to be frank, a bit of a disappointment. How much difference 3 years makes. This new, larger lock is amazingly versatile supporting a key, fingerprints and bluetooth, all of which work very well. The unit itself is solid and look formidable (hope it's as formidable as it looks!). For me the best part is the Bluetooth support including an Apple Watch app with which I can unlock this lock as I walk towards it ... takes all of 10 seconds! I'm only giving this 4 stars because I've only had it a few weeks. So far, so great! ... show more

Excellent, it recognizes the fingerprint without problem, the charge lasts a long time! And the best of all is the application, so I don't use the key, it can be opened with the fingerprint or with the application! It's the best, I wouldn't last to buy it a thousand times more!!

We have come a long way when it comes to advanced home security and this cool padlock clearly falls into that category, fitting the bill 100 %. I have been interested in a “smart” lock for my house (backyard gate) for a while but always hesitated to buy one - until now (thinking I can always return it, but there certainly is no need for that). This lock feels and exudes HEAVY DUTY and although I need another app on my phone about as much as I need another hole in my head, download, install, and subsequent use of the thing worked without hiccups. Very versatile, reliable, and convenient to use, it really does the job. Great product! Well worth the money for security. Lock was easy to set up with 3 finger prints stored so far. Full charge fast. Hopefully charge will last. Might buy a second lock for storage door. This lock will save me steps I won’t have to find key when I need gate unlocked.
