I used these for a trip overseas. They held up and were easy to use but they aren't very strong, they seem like they can break if someone wanted to get into your bag. Good value for the price

In order lock you have to keep pressing down the shackle while scrambling the numbers. Other than that the instructions on the ad were OK. Sturdiness and Durability are TBD hence 4 stars for those. Black Friday price was not bad.

    • Locks don't work
Simply put, only one of the four (4) locks works. The order comes with four (4) locks and only one of the them was able to open, even on the default combination. I didn't know this until recently because I only needed one lock when I originally got the order. I was "lucky" enough at the time to get the one lock that worked. Unfortunately, when I went back recently to try the others, none worked. Waste of money. ... show more

    • I gave them a shot but had similar issues to others with one of the locks.
These were a bit smaller that I expected, though I didn't measure so no fault of the product there just noting for others. I purchased these to put on the exterior gates to our yard, where we already have keyed padlocks, just a thin line deterrent where I didn’t have to carry or go back inside the house to get keys. Well as mentioned these are smaller than the usual small padlock. I would say these are for luggage type situations. My guess is that you could likely pop one of these without much force or even using a sturdy pen between the shackles. Still no stars off on those accounts as I should have measured by description. The stars fall when I have similar issues to other reviewers where one lock will not work. *****The instructions are actually easy to follow, just keep in mind that counterclockwise is when you are looking down onto the top of the shackle with the “Giverare” label facing you. My issue just so happened to be the first lock I tried. I rotated to stock combo of 0000, turned 90, pushed in turned 90 and put in my new combo. Reversed the order to try the lock and it wouldn’t lock again. I redid the steps to using my new combination to verify and I was able to do both 90 degree turns no problem.. reversed the steps again and still wouldn’t lock. I then found that regardless of what numbers I entered as the combo I was able to do both 90 degree turns, which it shouldn’t allow unless it was the right combo, so something is definitely broken on the inside of that one. The other 3 worked as intended following the steps. I am not sure it’s worth the trip to return these so I will just keep the working 3 for little things around the house and shop for a larger actual padlock sized combination set for the gates. ... show more
