    • Worked great, but not TSA approved
We bought these for our trip to Europe. They are great for locking your luggage in your room, but are not TSA approved for locking luggage on the plane. That just means they might cut them off if they want to unspect your luggage, not that you can't use them.

The locks came in a 4 pack. Unfortunately, not all 4 locks were set at 0000. One was set at 0090 and I didn't notice when I pulled it out of the box. I locked the lock and then it took me some trial and error to open it. The three others were set at 0000 as specified in the instructions. Other than this, I am satisfied with the purchase, but remember to look at the combination when you pull each lock out of the box. These locks are great for simple luggage or a gym locker and are very cheap. They do the job and you can set your own code. For the price, it is pretty decent quality and it does the simple task of acting as a minor deterrent for unwanted entry

I bought the Giverare 4-pack combination locks for a few reasons. I wanted a 4-digit combination with a long shackle to use on carry-on bags/suitcases, so the TSA friendly ones weren't necessary. This product seemed to have decent enough reviews and the price was right. On my first trip, 2 locks broke. One can't be relocked. The other can't be opened (fortunately, it was stuck on the zipper). Resetting the combination doesn't work. The combination mechanism must be poorly constructed. I have locks that have been banged up pretty bad through hundreds of flights over many years that are still very much usable. Since it's past the 30-day return window, I'm stuck with these locks. One faulty lock is an anomaly. Two is a pattern. I definitely do not recommend them. ... show more

Appreciate the multifaceted. Made the process of choosing quick ans simple. Easy to set, though I did screw up one while setting. Numbers could be a bit larger, easier to see for this of us who are challenged in the vision category. The silver set actually has larger numbers, much easier to read.
