It works but it's too easy to slide it into set mode by accident when going to lock it and jumble your combo. I see evidence of this in other reviews. Usable if your careful, not great for kids, and could have been better designed. Next time I'll pay a tad more and get something better.

Purchased this to replace one that broke just like it. Easy to set and open and close. I wouldn’t trust it for valuables in an open area, but for some security in a locked storage room, works fine and is sufficient.

Purchased this lock to take with me to the gym, setting up my combo was easy to do and shackle is thick and sturdy.

    • Jams during reset
I followed the directions on the back of the package to reset the unlock code. Instead, the lock jammed and will not open with factory code or the one I used. I didn’t get to use the product at all. Just a waste of money.
