My younger son thought this one was "harder" to learn than the other one we have. I don't ride these things, so I have no idea. He is now an avid rider on this hoverboard. The hoverboard has Bluetooth capabilities. This is great for the kids but every time the board is turned on it says loudly something like, "Bluetooth is ready to connect." This would be the only thing I don't like. My kids tend to turn the boards off and on many time while playing. I would recommend this board for your kids. Here's a funny; The users manual must have been written in Chinese and Google translated to English. the manual was in many areas nearly impossible to follow. The phrases and word groupings made no sense to me. Clearly they don't pay English speaking people to proofread. Its interesting how each language is written and translated. (I didn't need the users manual, but I just glanced it it.) ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Beston Sports Company when I bought this one.
Update! I tried 2 different battery chargers off Amazon and it did not get the Hoverboard going. This Hoverboard product is only good for 10 months. You only get a warranty for 45 days and then manufacturing warranty for 90 days. By time the next birthday or Christmas roll around it will be no good. Now I will say, it will not charge. The battery pack is lit green as if it is fully charged. I will purchase a battery pack and see if it will charge and then do another review. For now, I just want you to be aware that it is not turning on. To purchase through another company or at least be smart like me and get the warranty. ... show more

This was a Christmas present for my husband. He loves it and found it really easy to learn to ride. He has almost nearly killed himself twice (an exaggeration, but definitely almost broken a bone), his fault for trying to stop fast and failing. I on the other hand am not coordinated enough to ride this at all, I leave the dare devil stuff to him. He has broken the light covers on both wheels already by bumping into things, I didn't feel like he bumped them hard enough to break them but there you have it. All in all it was a good buy. I just need to stock up on health insurance and life insurance. Hahahaha! ... show more

The cord broke the week that I bought the hover board. I ordered a new charging cord based off of the sticker on the hover board, and when I received the new charger, it did not fit the hover board.

This hover board came quickly it looked beautiful when I came out of the box lights are really nice and it rides really good the only complaint that I have is that the battery life isn’t as long as some of the other ones that we’ve owned

We bought this for my sons 6th birthday. he is a rockstar at it. It feels safe to get on. it doesn't move until both feet are on and he is ready to go. He LOVES the bluetooth mode and when its connected to music he is so happy. Goes fast and very responsive to him.
