A hundred million stars for this. First of all, it arrived packaged well. And it was mostly already put together, it only took my husband less than 10 minutes to finish getting it all assembled. My 8 year old daughter was able to spend 2 minutes learning how, without getting on it, to ride. And then she was off. It's very easy for a child to figure out. NOTE: The brake is hard for small handed kids. My 8 year old barely can squeeze it, barely fits her fingers around it. So they will need practice to learn. Now this thing runs up to 15mph they say. I thought, hey, no problem -- my 10 year old son will love beating his little sister while he races ahead on his regular bike. BOY WAS I WRONG! It's extremely difficult for a kids bicycle to keep up with this. So we actually just went and my son was jealous so he bought another motorized Razor scooter to keep up with his sister. 15mph is fast. I bought new helmets for the kids. I feel better about that... And I think maybe they should be wearing pads, but we live in a cul-de-sac with one side of the street having no homes or driveway cut-outs so I let them drive on the sidewalk for the straight shot of 500-600' and it's a major thrill. Also note, you can see in the photo there's a "light." It does not work. But we wanted a light, so we just bought some of those stick on LED battery powered lights. A 3 pack for like $8. Anyway, below the fake light is a spot with the Razor sticker on the front of the bike. It's a perfect spot for a light. We needed puffy 2 sided tape squares to make it stay firmly, but I feel like it's worth it instead of making my kid stop when it's starting to get dark. It's pretty quiet, so your child should be supervised or given major instructions. And for the record, I rode this a couple times myself and it is SO FUN! It feels very sturdy. My husband, who is WAY over the weight limit, rode it and said it absolutely could support his weight. He seemed to be going fast and the scooter didn't seem to drag. ... show more

My daughter had grown out of the electric cars that were on the market. My kids are just too damn tall. She is only 7 and my options were limited. This thing was perfect! It was easy to put together and easy to ride. She picked it up very quickly. She'll be able to ride this thing for years to come. The quality of the scooter is surprisingly good. Make sure to watch your kiddos though, it's got some speed. She was zooming around in no time, so I have to make sure that she's geared up before she jumps on. Great purchase so far.     • Daughter absolutely loves it
Christmas gift for my 7 year old daughter who absolutely loves it. I assumed building the scooter once it came would be a pain in the butt, however, it was completely simple. in 15 minutes i had everything together and was "test" riding it around my house. It also seems very durable. My daughter jumped on board and immediately drove this sucker smack into my dining room table, dropped it and it slammed into my wood floors. She managed to also do that same thing except substitute table with bar, chair and kitchen island. Not even a knick though on the scooter. Only warning is be careful, i am 180 pounds and when i test drove it, i noticed it was quick but not too fast. That being said my daughter is 60 pounds and it takes off like lightning with her riding it. Make sure surrounding areas are free of obstacles on the first couple rides (should have taken my own advice.). scooter is awesome though and would recommend. ... show more

    • Put air in your tires
We’ve had this moped for a few years . Yes ,I had to replace the batteries. One review mentioned it lipstick it’s speed . Oddly enough ,I saw what they meant until I put air in the tires! Back to normal! Granddaughters LOVE IT! Razor support is wonderful!

I bought this for my daughters six year birthday. I was very hesitant because the parameters stated 13 or older. But in the end I ended up getting the moped and she loves it! I am still unsure of how a 13-year-old can ride it because it would seem pretty small, but my daughter got the hang of it. She still needs a helmet and pads on, for my reassurance, however it is great for her. She’s had it for about three weeks and no issues as of yet. It charges and it last for as long as she intends to ride it. We also like it because she has siblings who ride with her on the back and they both fit (2). Her older sister is eight years old and rides it perfectly. I would recommend it and gave the review because I bought it for my six-year-old who can ride it pretty well. It also holds up to all her roughness as well. She loves it a lot! ... show more

    • All good but the battery charger
We purchased the scooter as a gift for our 12 year old granddaughter. She quickly learned to ride it and enjoyed it for two days until the battery charger seems to have stopped charging. The quality of the scooter seems to be good and the battery life is pretty good so far. I was disappointed in the quality of the battery charger however. It doesn't seem to be of the same quality as the scooter. I contacted Amazon and was quickly given instructions on how to order a replacement battery charge at Razor.com. Amazon refunded the cost of the charger and I appreciated their help very much. Now I'm just hoping it doesn't take too long for the replacement battery charger to arrive so our granddaughter can ride again. ... show more

This was literally,I mean literally— the best gift ever! Bought for my daughters 8th birthday after reading all the fantastic reviews. It’s her first ride on,she is very scared to get on fast moving anything lol,but this thing!!! Didn’t even hesitate at all to get on & go! Definitely worth the hype and the extra $$ for sure! She hasn’t came off the thing since her birthday! Begs to ride it everyyyyy single day! Charges pretty fast & stays charged(even without a full battery)..Best battery life out of all my kids ride ons. & not to mention how cute she looks riding on it! ... show more
