I like this, it's a great ides but it has some issues. I dont expect the battery to last long with the cooling plate turned on but being able to charge this amd use it should be a basic allowable feature but it is not, it will shut completely off... This one is a little louder than another one I bought to try that looks almost identical but that doesn't bother me, the breeze feels good I just wish it blew straight up more to reach my face rather than just to my ears... Also the battery, control board or something (my guess is the battery) was loose and shaking around in mine, but amazon is great about being able to trade these out but unfortunately I will be returning this one to try other fans, hopefully I find one that can run and charge at the same time. ... show more

Received the package promptly. That was the best part. Poorly packaged. Way too much room in the box for the inside box to bounce around, but the unit seemed ok until I removed the plastic wrapping. Cap on the right side fell off when the wrapping was removed. Easily popped back into place. I fully charged it per the instructions and then turned the blowers on. Left side worked, but the right side did not. Lightly tapped on the side, but nothing. Packed it up and returned it two days later. ... show more

I sweat. Profusely! And I just hate sweat getting into my eyes. or dripping on my glasses and blurring the vision. As such, I wear a sweat band all the time. When I saw this neck cooler, I decided to give it a try. So it arrived and I put it on charge. Later that day, I had to mow the lawn. Temp was about 90 with about 20% humidity. So I decided to try the cooler. I put it on max fan and 68 for cool. I did not put on my sweat band. I began mowing. Surprisingly, the neck cooler worked as advertised. You could definitely feel the cold metal plate on the neck, and the fan system provided enough air movement to prevent the sweat from dripping, for about 35 min anyway. After that, I had to put the sweat band on. So when I turned the unit off after mowing, you could immediately feel the difference, as the sweat really began to flow. I don't think the metal plate contributed a lot for me, but if you were using this in really high heat, it could make a difference. Now, the one drawback for me is the noise. When using while mowing (battery operated mower), it was tolerable. Without the engine noise it was quite loud and distracting. So if I am mowing, cutting wood, or weed eating, I would use it. 1 star off for the noise. But a very interesting thing occurred while I was using the cooler. Mosquitos were attacking me. Not biting, just flying directly into me. They hit my glasses, my cheeks, my neck, and the side of my head. It had something to do with the frequency that was being emitted by the cooler noise. Ran a test by setting the unit on an outdoor table, and turned it on. There were at least a dozen mosquitos bombing the cooler, within 30 secs. These were the tree hole mosquitos, and they are pretty aggressive normally, as they try to bite you. ... show more

I bought this for my sister while she’s doing her rounds out in the heat and so far so good! It blows out really good air. Only bummer is it takes 2 hours to fully charge but it’s so worth it!
