This electric scooter is the perfect solution. The assembly was straightforward and quick, making it easy to start using immediately. With a top speed of 19 MPH, it is perfect for getting through congested traffic areas, significantly reducing my commute time while maintaining an efficient and safe speed. The scooter's folding capability is a game-changer, whether I'm taking it indoors or on public transportation. The range of up to 19/23 miles is quite impressive, providing ample usage without frequent recharging. The 8.5" solid tires are durable and eliminate the worry of punctures common with traditional air tires, though they are not ideal for very rough terrains. One of the features I love is the LED display, which allows me to check the speed and battery life at any time. The built-in headlights are bright enough to ensure safe usage even in dim evening conditions, and the brake lights add an extra layer of safety. I currently work in a tourist area where parking is extremely difficult. I usually keep the scooter in my car's trunk, park in a more distant, less crowded area, and then use the scooter to get to my workplace. The media could not be loaded. Update on the scooter. When I first got it. I was nervous despite the reviews. The recent review telling you not to buy this scooter .LISTEN. First issue: you can see the half job on the scooter. Look under where the tires are. You can just glue everywhere. (So very safe right?) 2. This scooter was originally priced at like close to $500 if not exactly $499. But there was deal on it (now I understand why) If this scooter costs about $500. And looks that cheap when you get it? Yeah there’s something wrong. I got this scooter with a discount and I got it for like $263 and some change. 3. The battery life is supposed to last longer than what it actually gives you. A 10 or less minute ride to my job. Took HALF the battery. HALF. After being fully charged. Maybe not even a 15 min ride on my last scooter to the gym right. again it’s fully charged I got home with just THREE bars left on this scooter. This scooter is my main transportation as most kids are privileged enough to have a car. I do not get that privilege at least not in my current situation. Biking or riding is my first option that I prefer. Buying this scooter has made me stressed and I now have to return this one to get an even more expensive one (do not buy this brand) BUY HIBOY. I very recommended HIBOY. I love their brand. They are not cheap with their stuff like this brand is. And you won’t find glue all over your scooter. So I read other people's review of this and they didn't really have the info I was looking for so I'll put what I think is important to know in this review. 1. App - you need to have the Bluetooth on your phone enabled to use the app; I did not know this. The app is really good but also meh. All it does is change riding modes, turn lights on and off (which can done without the app), and lock your bike which is really nice. 2. Distance and speed. Reviewers have said "Wow, 20 miles on eco mode!" No, not cool. If you run this thing on eco mode, the top speed of the scooter is 5, maybe 6 mph. Most people can walk faster, I certainly can. Slow modes tops out at about 10 to 12 mph which is a bit better and I did notice it made a difference in battery drainage. One time I was out pretty far and didn't know if I had enough power to get home. I switched over to slow mode and made it home with energy to spare. Sport mode is fastest at about 19 to 20 mph. It only goes about 10 miles though. I live in a suburban area so to get across town is about 5-6 miles. But, if I feel if I'm running low, I just switch to slow mode. 3. Cruise control is great and I have noticed that my battery does not drain as quickly when I use it. 4. Battery efficiency. There are ways to conserve energy on this. If you're going downhill, lay off the throttle. Why waste battery when you have a gravity assist? It does seem to consume more energy if you are going uphill. There is also a slowdown in speed. In some cases it's better to just walk. You'll go faster and save your battery. At the very end, it's still a scooter. If it dies, you can just footpaddle it and it works well. 5. Tires. These are solid tires and I feel every little thing on the road but I'll also never get a flat. I'm considering putting some cushy handle bar covers on to help. I'm not sure about this next part, but the lack of suspension on this seems to really tire my legs. I can't say this is the most comfortable ride. If you're going a long way, it might be more exhausting than a scooter with inflatable tires. It's certainly the case for me. Overall, this is a very nice scooter and the price was really good. I recommend it if you're just puttering around town or commuting. The fold and carry option is A+. As always, know your local laws. Whatever applies to bikes usually applies to scooters (you can get busted for riding this on a sidewalk in my town) and wear a helmet. Cheap bike helmet is fine. ... show more
