We have been looking for a new knife set to replace our old set. My wife wanted a detachable steak knife option. We had been looking for a while. Found these on Amazon and they were in the price range we were looking for. She was a little weary of the them and I reminded her we can send back if we didn't like them. We received promptly. the knives are very attractive. We love the unique handles which are very solid. We have had for a couple months now and have held up well. Some of the sharpest knives we have had. We generally always hand wash them but have mistakenly put in the dishwasher and haven't had any issues. It was also the perfect size as far as number of knives. Some sets have so many knives that never get used, this set hits all the boxes; a nice paring knife, bread knife which my wife loves, carving knife, and a couple others including very sharp kitchen scissors, six great steak knives with a removable holder which my wife also loves so we can put on the dining table during steak night. ... show more

I like this set. Knives have a good feel with the handle, very sharp and cut through things like butter. Tired of knife sets that are just not sharp and could never seem to sharpen them enough. These work great and nice design. Only downside, I would have preferred the knives to not be serrated. I like steak knives that have a smooth edge, but they still cut great. ... show more

I've been searching and reviewing knife sets for sometime, and I finally decided to get this set 15 piece set. The knives are awesome and the blocks look great. One thing though, the Damascus steel is visible in the blades, which have a Samurai sword like sharpened edge, which are both cool, only the steel is not as dark as depicted in any of the sales pictures of any Damascus blades I have seen. I didn't honestly expect the blades to be that dark, and fan only surmise that they do that to show the steel pattern better on screen, maybe? ... show more

These knives are REALLY sharp and well made. BUT- one of the steak knives has rusted along the edge in a 1 inch area. I always was careful to hand wash and dry before putting them in the block but it apparently didn’t matter. Quite disappointed that a knife of this quality would rust after a single use…… ... show more
