I recently purchased this product and would like to provide a breakdown of my thoughts for potential buyers. Overall, I am impressed with its performance and quality. Starting with the positives, here are the pros of this surface protector: 1) Enhanced Surface Texture: The surface of this protector feels noticeably smoother to touch, providing an improved tactile experience. 2) Complements Apple Pen: The slight texture of the protector greatly enhances the writing and drawing experience with the Apple Pen. Unlike writing on glass, the perceived feeling is much better, resulting in more precise and comfortable usage. 3) Impressive Anti-Glare Feature: I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible level of anti-glare provided by this protector. About as easy to install as most screen protectors, which is to say it’s not easy. Since there was only one in the package I was very careful! I peeled only the top part of the backing off and lined it up. I was then able to slowly lower the protector onto the screen as a peeled the rest of the backing off. This was a lot easier because I could make small adjustments as I let it down. I’ve really enjoyed the protector since getting it on! I previously had a normal glass screen protector and this matte one makes a huge difference. It really reduces glare and fingerprint smudges and my finger moves smoothly across the surface. I take notes on my iPad for school and I haven’t noticed any issues with my Apple Pencil. It seems to write even better as there’s the smallest bit of friction that feels more like paper than tempered glass protectors. It’s not as much as many protectors marketed more for artists though so you don’t have to worry about the pencil tip wearing out. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and I’ll definitely be ordering another if something happens to this one! ... show more

This is one of 2 matte tempered glass protectors on the market for a 10.5 iPad , and I’m so glad i listened to reviewers, because the product is flawless (and supershields has a reputation for defects on their matte protectors) As far as installations go, iPad protectors are always harder. The screen is huge. I struggled most specifically with using the application guide stickers, I had to place it on my screen with the protective film to get the appropriate placement first, and every time i would lift it to get rid of the lint that transferred from the film to my screen, the stickers would peel off. I ended up sticking 2 huge pieces of tape so it finally wouldn’t fall off. But the application was perfect, it fit my home button without extra gaps, and other than one stray piece of lint near a corner, zero bubbles once I used a credit card to guide them out. Long story short, other than the stickers making my job extra frustrating, I’m in love. I’m a very greasy human, and it doesn’t seem to smudge up like my oleophobic gloss protectors in the past. Although being a rather clammy handed person there are definitely a few fingerprints. But its a dramatic reduction from before. The finish is satin smooth, the sensory side of me keeps brushing up against it because honestly, it is SOOO satisfying. And the glare is minimal despite working in a room entirely lit by giant skylight windows. I work with kids, so we will see how durable it is, but so far for my academic/personal uses I’m content. ... show more
