    • Gigantic pill, hard to swallow
My doctor recommended this brand for lowering my cholesterol, but they are easily a third larger than the biggest pill in my supplement/medication regime. To make things worse, the rough coating makes them try to stick in my throat and esophagus when I swallow them. I generally don't have trouble with larger pills, but these are another level. Sitosterol 2gm is recommended amount to lower cholesterol in 5 articles read in medical journal. I used this along with prescribed medication, as a synergistic medication, it normalized my high cholesterol after consuming one bottle.
