  • Nice board, no issues.
Size: ATX Style: MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI
Wow, super easy setup. Very nice board to go with my new Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Already came with updated bios so I didn’t have to flash. Booted up first time without any issues. Great board.

  • Great quality
Size: mATX Style: B650M PROJECT ZERO
So far the performance is great, bios is pretty decent plenty of updates, fit in its case perfectly and looks absolutely stunning. So far it’s treating my 7700x quite nicely, was able to easily update bios. Seems stable haven’t had over a month so only time will tell. So far impressed with the matx comparability as well plenty of fan headers and 2 m.2. Only bad quality is it lacks pcie 5.0. But great for gaming just not the most future proof ... show more

  • Great Gaming Motherboard
Size: ATX Style: B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI
The MSI B650 is a great gaming motherboard and I’ve had a very good time with it so far. It has a great feature set supporting a chipset (AM5) that supports the best gaming CPUs on the market, working great with both my ryzen 7900X3D and RX 7900 GRE, has good and stable voltage and temperatures, feels and looks high quality and was very durable. As well, their BIOS is easy to navigate, boot times are quick, and it’s easy to install divers. ... show more

  • Check the socket
Size: mATX Style: B650M PROJECT ZERO
Update: New board had no defects, installed perfectly, running like a champ in no time. Easy bios settings, recognized usb keyboard and mouse, and easy to flash the rom. Cable management was a little tricky with the msi mid sized case but the final build is super clean. The quality and look of the board are great…other than a potential issue on the MB socket. The board heat sinks are amazing. It fits into a MSI case great. The back connections are wonderful and work very well with all components. Even if there is a wire that’s a little short there are multiple ways to route them and for them to be hidden. You will need a magnetized screw driver to install and it will be difficult to install peripherals without mounting in the case first. Comes with a magnet which I assume is to magnetize a screw driver. Very small trade off for a clean build. Loading the most recent rom was an absolute breeze with a usb stick and the rom flash button on the board. Great feature and adds rom comparability. The issue I had with a red cpu light. Research provided 2 potential issues, incompatibility of ram or damaged cpu/socket. 4 hours later pulled the cpu and got a microscope on the socket. I am not sure what it’s supposed to look like but I could find 3 areas that did not look right that were not uniform. 2 were pins that did not look right and one looked like a solder bridge. I have never dealt with a bad socket before so I am making some assumptions. I will say I am surprised as the overall quality of the board looked great and it did look like a new board. Waiting on a replacement and will update this review. 4 stars of the new board is good, 5 if my cpu is the issue. ... show more

  • Solid Motherboard.
Size: Mini-ITX Style: MPG B650I EDGE WIFI
Excellent MB. I was reluctant to order this at first because of the Amazon warning that it is a frequently returned item. It turns out I did have to return the first one, as it was obviously a used and damaged board that was sold as new. Amazon replaced it quickly, and the second one had all the signs of a new item. Tape on the bag, CPU socket cover in place, plastic on the back side of the MB and also on the M.2 socket cover. Easy build after that. No BIOS flash required ahead of time. I'd like better drive symbols in the BIOS, but it was easy to change the boot order and load the OS from USB. ... show more

  • Simple, solid, sufficient
Size: mATX Style: PRO B650M-A WIFI
Running for 3 month, zero hiccups. Purchased Jan. 2025, paired it with an AMD R5 7600x, G.Skill Trident Z 64GB RAM and WD Black SN770 . No issues, boots fast (pwr button -> Win login = 10 seconds), factory BIOS. Good array of options and settings, layout is solid and the board itself is physically sturdy. As far as mobos go, it was a pleasure to work with. ... show more

A solid performer. Bios, port capacity, heat sink & processor fit are all a solid check. Good gaming performance and is on par with the price point.

  • Great...with a HUGE caveat
Size: Mini-ITX Style: MPG B650I EDGE WIFI
The B650I Edge Wi-Fi is a great motherboard, but it has a huge manufacturing flaw that needs to be addressed. The Clear CMOS button on the back of the motherboard sticks out too far and is pushed down in the motherboard packaging in transit. This results in the CMOS battery being dead when the board arrives to the customer. This means anytime you disconnect the motherboard from power, it resets ALL your BIOS settings including any CPU or Ram overclocking you applied or anything else you applied in the BIOS. This can be resolved by swapping out the CMOS battery yourself, but this requires above average skill on the end user to do this. I personally chose this route over returning or RMA'ing the board since it is a quick and cheap fix if you know what you are doing. The CMOS battery is just a CR2032 battery which is easy to buy just about anywhere, but since this is an ITX board, the battery is not socketed in like most ATX boards. Instead you have to disconnect a lead from from the battery and then swap the battery out using heat shrink or electrical tape in my case to hold the + and - leads on the new battery. Once this fix is applied, the board is great and the only other issue is the extremely slow boot times when XMP Ram OC'ing is enabled. If I stay at the default 4800mhz, the boot is quick, but at 6000mhz it is painfully long for a modern system. I don't think this is unique to this motherboard or brand, but rather all Ryzen 7000 series motherboards. ... show more
