Should I Buy It?

If you're in the market for a graphics card that balances top-tier performance with quiet operation and effective cooling, this card is a worthy investment. It is especially suitable if you are not interested in overclocking and prefer a clean, RGB-free aesthetic. The size and cost require consideration, but overall, it's highly recommended by current users for gaming and rendering tasks.

  • Quietly ripping through games.
Style: Graphic Card
oh man, the scalpers really effed up this whole generation for us. THIS CARD IS AMAZING. It wipes the floor with my 2080 Super, I can get more than twice the frames with RTX on or DLSS features. It's much faster at non-ray tracing loads as well, and MUCH smoother with no hitches anywhere. Also, NO COIL WHINE. This was a noticable problem with my 2080 as well and this card is SILENT apart from the fans, which are also much quieter even under load. Asus's software is mostly garbage tier, but aura to change the lights to one color is fine and the rest of monitoring with afterburner since my GTX 460 still holds up. Other 3080Ti's have better clock speeds and beefier coolers and more lights and all that mess but this one runs REALLY well with the manufacturer not programming it to run SO strained, and has temp headroom for a bit of OCing later down the line. It's a long boy that's for sure. If it was 1cm longer it would NOT have fit (well not straight in at least) my Fractal Design Define R6, which is a pretty big case in a world of popular micro-towers. Measure twice and buy once! I got it at 1550, hope your price is better, but I couldn't wait any longer. ... show more

  • No Frills, Just Performance
Style: Graphic Card
Decided to buy this now that the prices have dipped after waiting months for stock and costs to come down from the $2k range. Watched tons of reviews between multiple types of AIBs and decided on this one due to its simplistic design and reported stability. The performance of this card (and the 3080ti in general) is crazy, it barely even has to try with most games running at maximum detail. Using the performance BIOS setting, which only changes the fan curves, results in a very stable temperature around 55-60C under load. The fans will kick in under load, and then spin all the way down to idle after it cools the card back down to about 44C. It's also nearly silent even as it reaches peak fan speed. On a personal note, I like that ASUS provides a non-RGB card for those that simply don't care about RGB. The card does have a single LED to illuminate its logo, but that's it as far as I can tell. This card also shipped via UPS, even though it was sold and shipped by Amazon, probably because it came from out of state. ... show more

  • Expensive, but runs perfectly!
Style: Graphic Card
Got this when it was $1200. Overpriced, but a terrific card. Paired with a Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB 3600MHz RAM, 2TB 970 EVO, in a Corsair iCUE 4000X case w/ 6 fans. Barely any noise at rest or when pegged. Runs all games on Ultra, and video encoding/rendering using NVEnc is super fast. Love this card.

  • Boy, we jumped to Hyperspace
Style: Graphic Card
Previously I had a GTX 1070 OEM from HP, squeezing all the frames I could get on low to medium at 2K. Now, the future is here, and this TUF 3080 Ti is a really well rounded GPU, it runs decently quiet when u need it, it’s not toasty, unless you start overclocking, and the frames, oh the frames, got a MASSIVE boost. Everything looks so pretty, across all games I play, Overwatch, Warzone, Division 2, Forza Horizon 5, Doom Eternal, there have been at least 50 fps gains and the graphical fidelity gains as well, It’s a nice card and now prices are going down! ... show more

  • Excellent cooling, very quiet GPU with only one caveat.
Style: Graphic Card
This is one of the quietest, coolest running 3080 Tis out there. Gaming performance is on par with others that use 2 pcie power inputs. If you don't plan to overclock, I recommend this card just because it such a cool running and quiet card. However, if you do plan to overlock, and you are thinking of upgrading your 3080 to this one, I do not recommend this card. It has a 350w power limit which limits your ability to gain stability with any undervolt/overclock. All of the o/c software power sliders that go to 107% are for show, not happening with this one. Despite this, I was still able to squeeze just enough out of it to get a score of 20k in Timespy. The higher power cards can get up to 21k+. Other than that, great card. ... show more

  • Well built quality card!
Style: Graphic Card
I bought this primarily for gaming and wanted a card that was fast, but mostly reliable, quality, and quiet. This hits all the marks. May not score as high as the evga ftw on time spy or OC score boards (though it will still score well overall), but for gaming, this is has the same FPS, looks great, is reliable, and very quiet with good cooling. Wouldn’t change a thing. Excellent card. Also, if you want to overclock or under volt, these cards take well to this. There are good tutorials on this as well. ... show more

  • Expensive but no complaints
Style: Graphic Card
There are cheaper options now, but when I bought this from Amazon it was the only 3080 or above that Amazon had in stock. Now there may be others to choose from. Right now I'm playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey at Ultra settings and it hovers right around 60 FPS. Control runs at 70+. Elden Ring is capped at 60 but I've had no issues with it either. I haven't tested with Valhalla yet. I've heard the 3080 TI isn't worth the premium but I've been happy with this. I'm running a TUF Gaming board and other Asus parts so it also keeps the branding intact. ... show more

  • Amazing GPU for this price and is very quiet
Style: Graphic Card
This product is perfect if you're looking for a gpu upgrade. It's very quiet and the performance level for this price is a great deal. I know the price is higher than usual, but I suppose the gpu market will continue to be this high. I think these prices are the new normal for gpus, and will control be in this range. Overall, it's a very good gpu for this price. ... show more
