I think this electric lighter is superior to normal flame lighters. You will never have to spend money on lighter fluid to refill it, it lights in seconds, and recharges extremely quickly. Another great feature is the on off switch. You can switch it off if you are worried about storing it in a drawer and sparking to light a fire. It’s very cool that you can charge it and always have a lighter on hand. Takes a while to light candles and get the little slit between the burnt edges of the wick. Also had wick crumbs get stuck into the device and continue to burn.

Had to try this. Looks like a mini-taser! Design is thoughtful all around and seems high quality. Tips do not seem to get hot after use and at least after a few gas stove lights it doesn't have any marks on it either.
