It easy to use, you can adjust the flame but even on the shortest setting it is still pretty big. I was expecting it to be the size of a pen but it is twice that, which isn’t a bad thing it is still portable but isn’t as hard to lose. The reason I got it is so that we wouldn’t use and dispose of so many disposable lighters. It seems more sustainable to me, but that is only considering the plastic waste. I don’t know how much it hurts the earth during production but I am happy using less plastic as I am trying to go mostly plastic-free. It works well with a bowl but that is also where I complain about the long flame. It still is worth it though, just be careful. ... show more

These are pretty cool. I only have them a short while but I am enjoying using them. I used one to light some paper to build a fire in my fireplace and noticed the paper caught on fire instantly and easily. I use to use a regular Zippo candle style which is just a flame.
