I like that these lighters were easy to strike and didn't tear my skin when I used it. They don't hold a lot of fuel, but are fine to light the grill with and even to start your backyard bon fires! It easy to use, you can adjust the flame but even on the shortest setting it is still pretty big. I was expecting it to be the size of a pen but it is twice that, which isn’t a bad thing it is still portable but isn’t as hard to lose. The reason I got it is so that we wouldn’t use and dispose of so many disposable lighters. It seems more sustainable to me, but that is only considering the plastic waste. I don’t know how much it hurts the earth during production but I am happy using less plastic as I am trying to go mostly plastic-free. It works well with a bowl but that is also where I complain about the long flame. It still is worth it though, just be careful. ... show more

These are pretty cool. I only have them a short while but I am enjoying using them. I used one to light some paper to build a fire in my fireplace and noticed the paper caught on fire instantly and easily. I use to use a regular Zippo candle style which is just a flame. Can't hardly tell when fluid is in the lighter. the black lighter isnt lighting up at all, fluid is not going into the black lighter. going to return!
