The Good: -Fast -Great fit for kids -Easy to assemble -Long battery life -Fun to ride The Bad: -No headlight The Bottom Line: Our kid really likes this MEGAWHEELS scooter since it’s smaller than our adult ones and it’s easier for him to ride since it fits him more. Assembly was easy as you just screw the handles on. Our son says the scooter is fast and fun to ride. The only negative is that it only comes with a little light that doesn’t really do much so you can’t really ride this at night without attaching a headlight. Overall though I would still recommend this scooter for anyone that has kids under the age of 12. ... show more

    • Easy to setup and use.
Amazon rejected my first review and I don't recall everything I mentioned, so I'll just hit on the few things I can think of. Setup was easy, attach some handles, maybe give it a charge, and ready to go. It has a top speed of around 14mph and a distance a bit over 7.5mph so you get around 30 minutes or so depending on weight, terrain, etc. My son did the riding since I'm a bit heavier than the Max weight rating. He said it is heavier than his lighter scooter when using your foot to propel forward but still ok. My thought process was if you ran out of charge and wouldn't be able to immediately recharge and had to still get somewhere. It seems it should be fine just maybe a bit more effort than a lighter, manual scooter. This one came with both an electric brake and the manual brake on the rear wheel. The electric brake does a good job of slowing down gradually but utilizing the manual brake with it can slow you down faster. The rear red light operates from vibration so it's illuminated while riding. The front has a white light with different modes. I don't know if they rejected my review because I did talk about cost but don't really remember mentioning specific dollar amounts. I believe I said it seems reasonably priced vs other options out there and it is suitable for different aged riders and doesn't look like a child's toy. ... show more

    • Zooming with Style and Fun and Built Like a Tank
The media could not be loaded. This scooter is impressively well-built, featuring a sturdy all-metal steel construction that gives it a very durable solid feel. The handlebar locks in solidly and you can see the lock position easily to verify the lock status. The all-steel construction in the stem locking area creates a lot of confidence in this scooter for me and my children. One of the standout features is its speed capability. With the ability to reach 10 mph, even with a 200 lb. rider (tested), this would be a little faster with lighter riders, it should offer a thrilling experience for kids while ensuring safety by limiting it to that top manageable speed. The quick no-tool required) adjustable handlebar height is another great feature, allowing for changes to accommodate children of different heights while out in the park. However, it's worth noting that the scooter's hill-climbing ability is very limited. It's best suited for use on level ground or areas with very slight rises, if you live in an area with hilly terrain and would be riding on these hills, it would not be the most ideal choice. On the practical side, this scooter weighs 18.7 pounds, which makes it relatively lightweight and easy to handle and load into a car trunk or SUB. Additionally, it conveniently folds into a compact package, making it effortless to transport and store. The scooter folded to 34” long, 12” high, and 6” wide once the handlebar height was reduced and the handlebar grips unscrewed. I was able to place this in a large duffle bag for easy transport. It has a red rear light that is vibration activated and a small white front light that has 3 modes to notify oncoming pedestrians. In conclusion, this child's electric scooter offers a well-built and enjoyable riding experience that will take a beating. Its all-metal steel construction, adjustable handlebar height, and a decent speed make it appealing. Just keep in mind its limitation when it comes to hill climbing. With its lightweight design, all-metal construction, and easy folding capability, it's a convenient choice for transportation and storage.     • Very fun
This is a youth scooter - however it carries my adult weight without a problem. It has an LED charge indicator - on/off button next to the charge indicator - very nice frame and moves at a decent rate but not too fast as designed for youth and kids. The handles come on and off and the frame folds allowing it to be stored neatly or put into the trunk of almost any car - it also has a nice little kickstand if you decide to just park it in your garage. A number of safety features make me happy - white light in the front and a red light in the back - brakes on the handles and a foot operated back brake - they can be used together for a fast immediate sop or individually for gradual stop or to slow down. The tires also seem to be never flats as they are solid rubber and do not need to be inflated. So far this is great and very fun to be used by both adults and youth that meet the weight threshold. It is a bit on the pricier side but it is well manufactured, and some thought went into the design. Small enough to take on travel - great for parks and boardwalks. ... show more
