This padlock and chain replaced the old rusted chain and lock. It's good enough for the price mainly to keep the gate locked. I doubt that it will deter thieves.

Not bad, I needed something to lock my 2 gates that enter my wrap around porch. I like to feel secure throughout my property until I get a fence up. The chain and lock are on the smaller side but hopefully will deter people.
