I love my eight quart pan! It was expensive, but well worth the cost. I've experienced no warping or burning and it looks as beautiful as the day it arrived. I usually cook a lot of soup or stew and freeze it. This pan holds a lot and with the thick, flat bottom the pan doesn't require as much stirring and hovering over. I recently purchased the made-in 8 qt and 12 qt stockpots, as well as the 3 qt saucier. Their 5-ply construction is impressive and it looks, feels and performs as a high-quality product. There is nothing flimsy or cheap about this cookware, imo. The lids fit tightly, the pots sit evenly on my gas burners, they heat evenly and are easy to clean (now that I've learned how to *Properly* cook with stainless I've had no problems with food sticking). I haven't had any issues with 'staining' as some reviewers say, but I suspect that is either from the type of water you have, detergent used or that sort of thing. Also, I am short so I especially like that the stockpots are 'low profile' - they are short and wide rather than tall. With minimal care this cookware should last many years, especially for the home cook - but I could easily see using this cookware in a commercial application. For the price I don't think you could do any better. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for very sturdy cookware that is also attractive. ... show more

This pot gets quite a bit of use. That said, so did my previous Cuisinart MultiClad Pro. This pot is more prone to salt pits. They do clean up with bar keepers friend, but my old Cuisinart didn’t get nearly as many, even after many years of use.

This is a high quality large vessel. I bought it to make a double recipe of a French beef stew to serve 12. The bottom is heavy and so there is no chance of scortching or sticking.
