This island turned out to be exactly as I had hoped. It did take me a long time to put together... and you must have two people to get it inside. But after all the effort... It's lovely!! I'm very happy with it and it gives me tons of extra space to prep things.

I put this together myself. I’m a DIYer and had zero issues figuring out the instructions. Using a cordless drill will make this a much easier assembly. There are some tiny misalignment issues with doors and drawers, but for the price I paid I’m not complaining. Either I got lucky or they fixed the wheel issues, because I have no problem moving this around. I opted not to use the spice rack on the side just another place to collect junk imo. I ordered the island and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The color is a beautiful grayish blue and I use it daily. The built in spice racks useful and there is ample storage. There are alot of parts to put together but your patience will be rewarded!

I purchased this island because I needed a bit more counter space for my small kitchen. I'm really glad I went with this island, the top is very spacious and the extra cabinet/storage space is great. It took a good bit of time to put together, I also used a power drill with screw and allen bits to make it go a faster. (comes with a small allen wrench only so you will need a phillips but I recommend using a drill if you have one to save your wrist all the work) I wrapped the top with countertop vinyl to get it to the color I wanted, I was able to put it all together on my own in the middle of my kitchen just fine so its not a project that needs a whole lot of room or multiple people and saved my husband a weekend of building it for me lol. Overall I really like the finished product, feels very sturdy I opted for the wheels instead of the stationary feet and it rolls quite smoothly. ... show more

Was looking for a kitchen island sturdy, and wasn’t taking that much space and here we go, found it. Love the color. The top is also a good quality counter top. I added the wheels and can move it around easily. I wish the shelves inside could have been done better. You just put them on top of screws and although they hold your stuff, if you move the kitchen island, it’s likely they might fall. This is decent size and serves it's purpose. However, it does take a while to assemble and all the pieces may not be labeled correctly. I also had an issue with one of the wheels. They are supposed to just click into the bottom of the side pieces, however, one of mine did not lock in place and now if I ever have to pick up one side the wheel will just pop out. Just spend some extra money and buy a better quality item, these are cheaply made and probably more trouble for what you pay for. Adding to this after about a year and a half. The whole unit have started warping in the middle and the doors have become offset as a result to the point where they hardly close.
