Easy to assemble. It took my husband (his power drill) and me about 1hr and a half to assemble. The drop leaf table has a pull out bar underneath in the center to keep it in place. This is a great value for the money. Very clean lines and SUPER EASY ASSEMBLY! I love the versatility of Shelves vs drawers. The one drawer is really a perfect size and depth. I am thinking of ordering a second one.

It’s really nice for our small kitchen space. Easy to put together just took time. I ended up using an electric drill because there’s a lot of screws and it would have taken me forever to do everything with the small screwdriver provided. Trust the instructions. At a certain point it feels like shelves are not aligned, but trust the process, they will align. I wish the casters were rubber, it would glide better. I chose to not install the paper towel holder although it was provided. There was a little damage to one of the panels but I just flipped it to the other side and there was damage to the front door unfortunately. 2 small nicks in the front cabinet panel that I will fill in with paint if it really bothers me. The unit feels flimsy when it’s empty. It moves better with stuff in it. I added some felt pads to the unit to keep the leaf from scratching the back of the island when it’s flipped down. I provided picture of the metal part that keeps it up since the product images don’t provide one. Hope this review answers some questions. Buy it. It’s pretty nice! ... show more

Island was well Packaged no chips or marks, instructions were super easy to follow! Some of the easiest assembly instructions ever honestly. I like it, but don't love it. The quality of the panels and drawers are really cheap with particle board. I can't see them withstanding a lot of use. I like the counter top but the cart doesn't feel as sturdy as I was hoping. It's pretty from a far, but up close it's a little too cheaply made. Oh..and the amount of Styrofoam sticking to it was so irritating to clean up. ... show more

Uncomplicated assembly. It took 1 1/2 hours to complete. ( I gathered pieces and fittings for next step while younger helper sat on floor to assemble). Really nice counter top and drop leaf lets it fit well in middle of kitchen. Extra storage is always a plus.

Hopefully this will inspire somebody. This island was the perfect solution for my small apartment living space. I wasn’t able to find a dining table or a place to eat in my home other than my sofa until a friend suggested that I just do a roller cart for my kitchen. Thought it was genius and decided on this one. This island was very quick to put together. (2 hour or so) and it’s probably the most functionable piece of furniture that I have in my house. Please keep in mind, It is a roller island so it will not be the sturdiest piece of furniture ever, to counteract this you can move your junk drawer to one of the top drawers in this piece and place some pots and pans in the larger drawers to weigh it down so it remains stable. Definitely a great buy and solution if you were unable to find a place to put an entire dining table. ... show more

I was really excited about this product, as I have little counter space in my kitchen, so this would be perfect. I am also someone who LOVES assembling furniture so I was excited at the prospect of a project. This was a nightmare to put together. Not because the instructions were unclear - they were very easy to follow, although the instructions are TINY - I'm lucky I have good vision or I'd have needed a microscope to understand the booklet. No, this was a nightmare because - whether through design or factory error every single hole was a few millimeters off of where it needed to be so NONE of the pieces fit together properly. I debated whether it would even be possible to put the thing together or if I should cut my losses and return the whole thing whilst it was still unassembled and ended up trying. A good chunk of the construction relies on using these twisting caps to hold the walls together. due to misalignment of the screws, the caps do not twist closed all the way, making the entire construction unstable. I managed to put the whole thing together and it seems sturdy enough, but I have no idea if it'll stand up to wear and tear as those caps could come undone. Point being: if you want to get a kitchen island, check your local furniture or hardware store. the quality will be much higher. dont get this product. ... show more
