SET UP: I did this alone and it took me 2-1/2 hours because I'm mindful of how I'm maneuvering and handling the pieces so as not to scratch or break them and I triple-check my work. I also played the video of someone building it, which is on the product page - btw, I noticed from the video that there are some pieces that now come attached, which is nice. I STRONGLY recommend using an electric screwdriver; the cart absolutely would not feel solid if I didn't use it and it would have taken me much longer to build. You'll need the phillips and the square bits. Although it took a long time it was easy and well worth it because the piece is very functional, so great looking, and very solid with great wheels. ... show more

The cons are: 1)the cam locks are horrible, really cheap and so do not function well, as in stay locked and fall out;2) some of the draws do not slide in easily so have to manipulate. ... show more

To start: I bought this for my Mum and she loves it, so it gets four stars. Pros: It has a really nice hardwood top. The casters are actual rubber and metal, not those stupid plastic things you get on most things. It has roomy drawers. The top shelf has a lip that's nice for cups or whatever suits you. Cons: The drawer walls don't go all the way up, so you can only put so much in them before it falls out the back. I took off a star because it was a pain in the rear to assemble. All the fiddly little cam-bolts are just annoying. First they don't lay flush to the surface, then they don't screw down all the way. If it weren't for that I would like it far better. Overall: It was well worth the sales price of $80, but I wouldn't pay full price for it. It's useful and Mum loves it so that's a plus. ... show more

This is the second cart I purchased with the first one being used as an accessory cart for my outdoor grill. This one I'll be using indoors in the kitchen. As the first one, this one assembled easily just as long as I followed the well explained and illustrated instructions. The only "nit" is the finish on the top is kind of raw. Running the palm of my hand over the surface I can feel a rough texture and it appears not enough varnish/shellac/etc. was applied. However, it's nothing I can't live with. Horrendous. I’ve assembled my fair share of “affordable” furniture but this was the worst. The top came apart from the cross support beams that were sloppily staple gunned on while I was assembling so the top just rests on the cart and daily a different screw or bolt fall out. In the end, the cart is doing its job, but there were a lot of issues. First, the packaging was a joke. Parts were just put in without much protection, and there were several damaged pieces. Next, the instructions are severely lacking. I am very experienced in assembling flat pack furniture, so it was no big deal, but it could be for someone with less experience. The fit and finish of the pieces was not great either. I had to constantly adjust different parts of the cart to get things to line up and the cam locks specifically did not work as well as other brands I have assembled. It was easy to build, I did it myself under an hour. I gave 3 stars because the amount of fiberglass came out of that box was INSANE. I had 3 cats so I put them away. Put on a mask to cover my nose and did not touch my eyes. So be sure to vacuum and wipe down the cart. Also for the price, I did expect some scratches. But overall, it works and does look nice.
