I’ve had these gloves for almost two years, using them for krav classes two to three times a week. They’ve been through a lot, here’s my review: Most important to me, they’re surprisingly durable: the padding is not worn down much, and other than the superficial damage you see in the picture from occasional scraping on the bag, they work as well as the first day. Depending on how hard you strike you may get some occasional knuckle bruising, but if thats a concern you can wear them with a wrap. Speaking of, I wear these without any other wraps/supports and have found the wrist support to be just fine without them. However, they are pretty cheap gloves so don’t have pro level construction. If you’re going hard on a heavy bag, especially if you’re new to boxing, your hands WILL get roughed up. This includes your knuckles, fingers where the edge of the gloves touches your hands, and even in between knuckle joints. To some extent this will happen with any gloves, but especially noticeable with these. As some other reviews have mentioned they seem to run a little large, which exacerbates the problem — unless you have big hands, I’d avoid the L/XL. (I’m 5’10, 175 and the L/XL are workable but definitely a little too large.) Overall if you’re looking for a lighter, less padded option instead of full boxing gloves, these are a solid option that will last you a long time and be easy on the budget. I’ve tried many gloves. Usually use Everlast Evergel. These are MUCH better than anything I’ve used. Excellent wrist wrap. Excellent knuckle protection. Excellent fit of my X-Large hands. Seems they’ll need very little breakin period. I hit heavy bag about 4 time/week. 11minute workout, about 1,000 strikes each time. Been boxing 15 years. ... show more

Tried one time and they gave me brush burns on both pointer finger knuckles in less than 30 mins. Otherwise they seemed fine.

I haven't used these long, about 4 hours of bag time, but they are impressive! I would expect even after minimal usage on a bag gloves would show some wear! Scuffs at least but there are none! They look like the day I took them out of the packaging! As far as fit, the L/XL fits my hands perfectly! My hands are 8.5 inches measured around the hand at the knuckles, about 3.75 palm width. Although that falls in-between the medium an L/XL, the L/XL is just right. Not sure if they would still fit with hand wraps but so far I don't need wraps. I'm just getting back into working out with the bag/kickboxing, it has been decades since I worked out on a bag so my workouts are probably not as intense as someone who has been at it consistently for a while. But, I am satisfied and would recommend them! ... show more
