I received the box battered and bruised. I wish I had taken a picture. But I opened it up. Everything seemed to be wrapped well enough. I unpacked everything and started to assemble. I didn’t have any help. It would’ve been easier with another person. As I was assembling the arms to the seat, I noticed a crack in one of the arms. At this point I was too far in to un-assemble, repack find a new box and return. This chair is too heavy with all its parts to re-wrap and ship back for a crack. (Hoping I can get some sort of reimbursement.) The chair itself seems sturdy, if not a little too hard and stiff. But that may be because it’s brand new and I am used to my old office chair. Assembly for one person is a little difficult but can be done. All the screws and hex tool were packed nicely. You even get a set of white gloves. I didn’t use them much but it’s a nice touch. The provided hex tool is all you need for the screws and washers. I wish it would have had a “short” side for tightening screws in tight places. Directions are clear and easy to understand. Overall good chair, heavy and sturdy, good support. No squeaks. ... show more

    • Comfortable Upright Position for Typing & Posture
I truly love this chair. I had an executive office chair previously that did not have adjustable arms and made me feel like I was leaning too far back. It hurt my back and was uncomfortable to sit in all day and actually be productive. This chair is much different! My husband put it together for me rather quickly, and all the parts are in working order. The box did come broken/busted (but surprisingly the chair itself was absolutely fine). I like that the arms can go up or down, and the lumbar support goes up and down or in and out. It also has a locking lean or forward position feature, which is great. The chair also has adjustable height. Its pretty sturdy and the materials aren't flimsy as I was expecting could be possible. Overall, if I had to buy this chair again, I would! (Also, I'm not being paid or compensated for this review in any way. Just a regular person who works from home 8 hours a day 5 days a week.) It would be tough to find a chair on Amazon that doesn't have a negative review or two. I think this one does also, but for 200 bucks it ain't bad. The arms are adjustable up and down. They are hard plastic and that may not be fun for some. If it is the only factor, add some foam to solve it. They are also somewhat loose in their holders and they rock around a little, but that is not a game changer at all. The seat itself is firm and comfortable and can be adjusted in multiple positions. The seat and backrest is weaved fabric that is tough, but it has to be kept clean in that the weave can collect particles of hair and household debris. A vacuum generally solves that. I sent this back, thanks to Amazon free return policy. The chair is well made, I really liked I could adjust the lumbar support up and down, though I still would have liked it to go upwards a bit more. Problem was, the seat base does not tilt as one with the back of the chair. Plus, the tilt resistance did not seem to matter when I adjusted the spring. On top of this, the condition of the box was horrible, I wondered if this was already returned once or twice. I have decided to buy individual chair parts and rebuilt the 40-year-old Lay-Z-Boy office chairs I have had most of my adult life. They work the way the way I want and still have decent upholstery all these years later. ... show more

After sitting 8 hours in my old office chair I would ache all over. The first day sitting in this chair I had NO PAIN at the end of the day! Or the 2nd day! I've only been using it for 2 days. No more ibuprofen! I can't believe the difference! I highly recommend this chair!!!!

As a software engineer and working from home for a year, my L5S1 is oppressing my nerves. Sitting in a chair is very good for me. pain. When I received the package, the first thing I noticed was the weight of the box. I think this weight is the guarantee of quality.But the way, It took me about 20 minutes to assemble the chair. The first thing I noticed was the design of the chair. I really love it. The second is that when I sit on it, I feel that my waist is strongly supported. This effectively relieved my neuralgia.
