This item wouldn’t ship to California, probably because of Prop 65 and the fact that it has a button that says “Ion”, lucky for me I was going to Arizona in a few days, so I just had it shipped there. Take that California! This was a lot bigger than I imagined, dimensions mean nothing to me. But it is very light weight, powerful but SO quiet. The remote control is great. I love this fan! I wish there was a night mode to make the indicator lights go off, but it’s nothing a piece of black electrical tape can’t fix. ... show more

    • Great fan for a great price
Disclaimer: this review based on one day use yesterday was the first day I used it I bought 2 fans to replace Holmes fan that after 2 yrs start to make a horrible noise when on osc mode also notice a chemical like plastic burning rubber smell comes out when you run it for a while . Since we were in quarantine you think of things that you need and one of them was replacing the fans . I likes Lasko products so I read the reviews here does majority of people were happy with it so I took a leap of faith. I have one our bedroom and one in the kids bedroom. It was amazing the first night ever I slept without wake me up throughout the night feeling warm I recommend you buy the model with ION it cool the air versus without just move the hot air it's really acted like an air condition I loved it and I asked my kids and they said the same thing that's felt very good. Keeping my fingers crossed to stay that way too 😁 Also, it was very easy to assemble no tools needed came with the book but minimum instructions wasn't good. I highly recommended it. ... show more

I'm very happy with this fan. I was originally just going to buy one of those round fans but they're always so loud. I did some research on these tower fans and this was one of the more popular ones so I pulled the trigger. Since it stands up vertically, it takes up less space. It's very quiet on setting 1, still quiet on 2 and I still can't complain about the sound on max setting of 3. Blows cool air really well and in combination with an AC this thing turns your room into a refrigerator! It can be stationary or oscillate, and it's really easy to pick up and move around. It's light enough and also has a handle type lip on the back that's easy to grab and hold with 1 hand. I definitely recommend this fan. ... show more

    • Not like a AC but better than a regular tower fan
I'm used to the classic 'Wind Machine' from Lasko, but after seeing that this model would improve the overall air quality I decided to give it a try when my trusty wind machine died after about 10 years of consistent use. I was truly skeptical but the "ionizer" definitely has some effect on the overall coolness of the room. Yesterday I forgot to turn it on and I noticed a huge difference in the day before when I had the ionizer turned on (yesterday was about 88 degree high, the day before having a 92 high). After turning the ionizer on you could tell the the difference in 10 to 15 mins. There is definitely a plastic/chemical smell when the ionizer is on but it only really bothered me when I turned the oscillation off and had the fan with the ionizer directly on me about 5 feet away. ... show more

    • Great fan!
Great fan for a menopausal woman! Easy to assemble. Easy to use. Doesn't take up much room. Safe for pets and children. I don't like a fan blowing directly on me so I point it towards the side wall and it's strong enough to circulate the air in the room. I live in a small duplex where the air conditioner is in the living room so the bedroom needs some air and this is perfect! Plus I like that it cleans the air too. The big advantage with the remote is that if I'm hot or cold I don't have to get up to change the fan settings. The timer is awesome too because I don't have to worry if I'm running late leaving the house if I shut the fan off or not because I don't like electrical things running while I am not home. This fan is easy to move around one handed for vacuuming or taking to another room. I camp in the summer and this will fit in my car easily to take with me. ... show more

    • Quiet and great air flow
This is the third lasko tower fan that I have bought in the last 4 years and it's not because i replaced them, it's because they are so nice for what you pay. This fan is quiet, has great flow and multiple speed settings, an ionizer and a timer. These are more options then a lot of more expensive brands, the amazon brand is more money and doesnt even have an ionizer. I used to use box fans but they are loud, these towers are hardly noticeable in sound. I have one in each room to keep the air flow around the house and use the a/c less. All of my fans still work and i have had 2 of them running literally nonstop for about 4 years and they still keep going strong. Also, all of my remotes that came with the fans work with all the fans so I use one and have the other 2 as backup in case I misplace or break one.
