  • Great Scooter, Great Price
Color: Neon Green Pattern Name: Scooter
I got the yellow Teen sized scooter. The yellow is a nice almost safety yellow color, though not quite as bright. The visibility is great! The size is perfect for me at 5'4 120 pounds and a size 7 womens' shoe. If your feet are larger or you are over 150 pounds, I'd suggest sizing up to the adult size. It rides nice. Easy to handle and can pick up some decent speed. It is very lightweight (less than 10 pounds) so I was worried it would feel chinzy, but it's pretty solid. Not like a heavy electric scooter, but great for the weight. It's so easy to fold up and take with you! I use it for quick trips to the store and sometimes, instead of locking it up outside, I just carry it in with me. It's also great for the gym. It's absolutely perfect for public transportation. I live just far enough from a SunRail station that walking takes too long, but driving and parking is a pain. Not only does this make getting there quicker, but (unlike a bike) i can fold it up and sit anywhere. Whith a bike I have to stay on the bottom of the train. This was a really great buy! ... show more

  • Sturdy and Fun - Great Scooter for All Ages!
Color: Dark (264 lbs Capacity) Pattern Name: Scooter
As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for quality, durable toys and sports equipment for my kids, and the LaScoota Kick Scooter definitely fits the bill. After several weeks of use, I'm impressed enough to leave this review - something I don't do often! Pros: Versatile for Various Ages: The scooter is marketed for kids aged 6+, but even teens and adults can enjoy it. This versatility makes it a great buy for families. My 9-year-old and 10-year-old both ride it comfortably. I have even used it several times. Sturdy Build: The construction is solid. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap, which is a relief considering how rough kids can be. The frame is robust and has endured quite a few bumps and drops already. Smooth Ride: The 8" urethane wheels make a noticeable difference. They glide smoothly on different terrains – from pavements to slightly rougher park paths. My kids have remarked on how "smooth and fast" it feels. Safety First: The braking system is reliable and easy to use, which is a huge plus in my book. I appreciate that my kids can slow down safely, especially when they're getting a bit too adventurous. Easy to Handle: Despite its sturdiness, the scooter is not overly heavy. My younger child can handle it without much struggle, and it's easy to carry when needed. Cons: Price Point: It is a bit on the expensive side, but I believe the quality justifies the cost. It's an investment in a scooter that won't need replacing any time soon. Storage Size: It's a bit larger than some other scooters, so storing it takes a bit more space. Not a major issue, but something to consider if you're tight on space. In conclusion, the LaScoota Kick Scooter is a fantastic choice for families looking for a reliable, fun, and safe scooter. It's well-built, easy to ride, and should last for years to come. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Great Commuter Scooter

  • Great Entry Level or Kid Scooter, But...
Color: Gray Pattern Name: Scooter
It's practically rideable right out of the box. You just have to insert the handle bars and adjust the stem height. Super Easy. The whole thing feels solid and sturdy without being heavy at all. I own a bike and wanted to add another low impact exercise to my routine. I figured this would be a great leg and glute workout. Here's what I liked: Good sized deck, comfortable handle bars, nice grip, easy to adjust stem height, kick stand doesn't interfere with the foot kicking on that side, easy to open and fold, light enough to carry and lift into my trunk with one hand. Here are my issues: 1. no suspension and the wheels do not do well over anything on the sidewalk. If there was a stray piece of gravel, the wheel would slip. The traction isn't great. 2. The rougher the surface the the more vibration you feel. This probably wouldn't be noticeable to a kid or teen or someone without joint issues, but my body was buzzing when I got off. It really is a good scooter, especially for the price, which is why I still gave it 5 stars. I just need something with good suspension and air filled tired to help mitigate the vibration. I think this scooter will work for most people and would still recommend it despite it not being a good fit for me. ... show more

  • It's pretty great!
Color: Aqua Pattern Name: Scooter
Here are my semi-coerced (but honest) thoughts: 1) It's big and somewhat heavy. This isn't really a downside, per se, but my young one truly does have trouble carrying it (even with the very welcome shoulder strap). 2) Big + Hefty = Sturdy Listen, as the above complaint is true, the byproduct is that the thing feels like a tank. I'm much, much larger than the young one, and I can comfortably rip around on this thing and very much not feel like I'm zooming around on a toy -- it's a sturdy scooter. I've had other adults zip around, jump off curbs, etc. too, and it's *completely* fine. As in, no worries at all ― not even the hint of a worry. When the kids got penny boards for skating, I was certain I would break it by looking at it ― not so with this hefty thing. 3) It's hard/tricky to fold. This is a negative to be sure (my young ones can't fold it), but I also don't want it to fold when 6'+ adults are jumping off curbs either, okay? So maybe it's a draw? They key to folding it up is to lift the hefty thing up by the handlebars and then pull up the tab to release and hold it while you fold it. You can do it! Go for it. (And remember, feel free to really pull it hard ― you can't break it as far as I can tell). 4) I don't own other scooters. I'm comparing this to nothing. I guess I'm comparing it to kids bikes and penny boards and my expectations... but "It's pretty great" really does sum it up for me. Maybe there's something better out there, normally is, but this is pretty great. A kid can grow into it and still ride it in 30 years, and based on how it's held up so far, I actually expect it to be usable as long as you can replace the wheels (haven't checked, but it seems probable). Verdict: do it. ... show more
