Update: The company reached out and helped solve my problems. Would buy from them again. I really love the brightness and color of the light. However the clips they give you are not strong and there are only ten of them. They won’t stay up when evenly spaced and keep falling. There isn’t even an alternative way you can mount these. For the money it should have had a lot more clips and them be stronger. Once one starts to slip off they all pull and fall down. Not worth the money. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this LED rope light to create one of those mirrors you find in dressing rooms that light up nicely and create a nice diffused lighting look to you and your skin. I already have the mirror, and I figured I would be able to make it stick with the adhesive it came with… IT DOES NOT COME WITH ADHESIVE. The silicone does also DOES NOT stick to anything. I wanted a flush look but finally had to use these clips (pictured). I then had to hot glue them to the mirror. It was the only way to attach the rope light the closest way I wanted it to look. To sum up: The PROS: -I got the result that I wanted, it looks absolutely wonderful and really lights up my skin the way that I was hoping it would just like the dressing room mirrors do -good quality product The CONS: -There are no adhesive‘s that come with it -nothing sticks to silicone and you have to use the clips that it comes with -no remote -having to hold down the power button to brighten and dim (see video) -not able to shorten length ... show more

I need ti illuminate a small, dark area. The amount of light this produces is adequate. However, the clips are nightmares. THe included may penetrate by barely a couple of millimeters through the clips. So I tried an outdoor quality double stick Scotch branded tape. As a side note, I used this tape on a solar light that is still up after a hot summer. Neither the clips of the light strip will stick to the tape. Something else I discovered is that the clips are difficult to pop the light strip into, but pop out sooo easily! Good light for a dark area, not too bright that you cannot see once it is in there. Not enough hard to use clips to do anything but a rudimentary install, just ten are included. Forget writing your name with these clips... I wanted to like this product. ... show more

I mainly got it to put along my wall and behind my couch. It's just a different option rather than a regular lamp and I like it. It's nice and bright and I don't plan on having it on for extended periods of time but it does seem like it'll last. The only thing I didn't like was the clips it came with, they were a nightmare to screw in. But other than that, it was all worth it. I'm considering on getting another one. ... show more
