I’ve never done my own hair. I had no time to get it done before a big trip overseas, which ended up being close to 2 months. I used one box before leaving and it worked perfectly. I was shocked at my own ability to “erase” the grays and not spoil my natural hair color around it. During the trip, I repeated with less fear and perfect again. I could tell after 9 minutes the dye started turning orangish so I washed it off. It did lighten it a bit, overall I didn’t hate it.

I liked it because it is so easy to mix and apply. I use it after 3 or 4 weeks of permanent coloring. Applicator is perfect for getting all the gray hair covered. The color was a good match.

Had to find a replacement for Revlon Root Erase when it was discontinued. Found this one to be just as good. Color #4 matches perfectly and it’s just as easy to use. Will buy until this one is discontinued.

I dye my hair with L’Oreal 5R Light Auburn, so I thought this would be perfect for my roots. Application was super easy and mess-free! That said, the color match was pretty awful lol - pics show before and after. I left it on for 10 minutes, but after washing it out, my roots looked bright orange! I then used the rest of the tube to add more and let it sit for an additional 10 minutes, and it darkened to the mahogany color seen in the photo.
