This is a great knife set for the price point. They are very sharp right out of the box & additionally come with a knife sharpener to keep them sharp. The set includes some nice extras like a cleaning tool for the blades, a pizza knife, a cheese knife, a finger guard, & a peeler. The display looks impressive, but the one thing that I could see changing is how the blades sit in the holders. There is a small gap between each row and it’s easy to accidentally put the knives in that gap if you aren’t looking straight down at it. This could lead to a larger blade hitting your countertop. Additionally, having a forward tilt would be nice as well, since you have to pull the whole holder out to put a knife in, or take one out, but that’s just personal preference based on where I keep my knives under the upper cabinets. ... show more

Attractive knives Pros: stylish and lightweight . Nice smaller sharpener included. cons: not dishwasher safe This is an updated review. After excellent customer service, I decided to up the star rating and review. The knives are very attractive; my family (6 including grandparents) enjoys using them and say that often. Although they do need sharpening fairly frequently when used extensively (quarantine has exponentially multiplied use of these knives) they come with a convenient sharpener. To be fair, my other set of knives NEVER received this much daily use! But having college athletes at home full time who work our daily, chop coarse vegetables (carrots) and meats constantly, and had quite a bit of free time to constantly explore culinary options , the knives needed to be sharpened occasionally. They honestly are proving much more hearty than was fair in my original review. There have been no issues whatsoever with the handles, appearance, etc..and considering these hot used A LOT they look brand new. The non stick sides need extra protection though, so dishwashing is not recommended overall in our experience since we have hard (albeit filtered and treated) water. We decided to give these knives another try now that our household has adjusted and no one minds quickly washing the knives -which was my initial frustration. Let me say that this company stands by their product. They have been amazing and have a very strict “make it right” policy. That has helped tremendously. Overall very pleased with this purchase.
