I've included photos of my hair dyed with Pink Mania, Lime Light, Atomic Pink, Cyan and Orchid. The photos are unedited and not photoshopped. The photos of my hair in the first two collages are dyed with Pink Mania immediately after I initially dyed my hair and dried it. It looked like how I would expect it to after weeks of multiple washes; which is faded. It was nowhere near as vibrant as it looked when the dye was on, or in the swatch. I saturated my hair in the dye, left it on for at least 30 minutes each time and even dyed it repeatedly to try to get it to show up with a more bold color. It didn't help. The color was patchy in areas and didn't take in spots (not sure if this was due to the dye or my hair, but I bleached my hair pretty blonde). I wouldn't necessarily mind the color if I were going for a cotton candy, almost pastel color but I was expecting what the swatch was. Someone commented on my hair and said they liked the "peach color". So I would say that if you want a lighter, pastel-ish pink, then this dye is for you. Amazon refunded me for this dye because I was not satisfied with it, but honestly this company should've stepped up and offered me a refund or a replacement for it. So far I've dyed my hair with 6 of their dyes. All of them had a more bold, vibrant color but in my opinion, Pink Mania was the only one that was disappointing in how it turned out. I would say that for the most part, the dyes are pretty good. They're bright and colorful and for the price, they're worth trying out. They should include photos of real-life models that have their hair dyed the specific color they're selling so people can see what it really looks like. Thankfully there are reviewers here who have done that so you can try to get a sense of what it will look like. If you are going for the brightest, boldest color, make sure that you get the highest level bleach and developer and lighten your hair as much as possible. Use a toner to get rid of any yellow or orange from bleaching it. Otherwise the dye won't show up the same color and it will look faded and the color will be off. ... show more

This stuff suck. Like terrible. I have level 9 hair and after one wash. It is gone. Gone gone. I mixed it with blue I had and it made a very deep purple. Well. Washed it out and guess what my hair was only blue. No deposit with this dye. I never write reviews but seriously do not waste your money.

Bought it in shade Pink Mania, after reading the reviews, viewing the pictures, and was super excited to try it. Must say the color looked completely different from what i’ve seen and completely different from the color picked itself. of course i knew the color it’s going to come out after washes, but what i did not expect were the spots after the first wash. Now after about 7 washes the pink still persists in my hair in a way i do not like. time to go back to be a brunette. ... show more

    • Vibrant and doesn't damage hair
I absolutely love this dye and have been using this brand only for pretty much 2 years now, I dye my hair pretty much monthly as I like to be creative with my hair and this dye doesn't damage it the way others would, the color comes out vibrant and stays vibrant for about 3-4 washes before it starts to fade, I have tested to see how long it takes to fade back to blonde using the limelight color and it took about a month and a half and i wash my hair daily. Despite all the good things about this dye I have had a few issues with it, the vivid violet definetly doesnt look the same as the swatches in the photos it is definetly more magenta. Additionally the pink mania and pink petal did not dye my hair at all and I left it on for longer than 15 minutes, I have however heard that the atomic pink works but that it is a light pink and not a hot pink like the swatch suggests. All in all it's good dye and I will continue to use it I just wish I was able to trust the swatches and that I hadn't bought useless bottles of it. ... show more

So this did not work for me at all. I did it twice it washed right out. But it didn’t stain my sink or shower so I guess that’s why it doesn’t stick to your hair. I used to use Joico brand but they stopped carrying the pink I liked. I’ll keep searching.
