Loved the 2 lb package. The kindling was just the right size and started quickly and easily. But when I bought the 10 lb box, the kindling was significantly larger and the large thick pieces have been more difficult to light. They had a strange smell to them, as well. This is my second box that I've purchased but my first review. I used these to start fire outdoors and indoors on my wood chimney. What attracts me to this product is 2 fold. First the smell is great, if I could place these throughout my house I would but I'm sure my wife wouldn't allow. Honestly these have a great wood aroma of fresh cut wood. Second, the ease of use. When starting a either outdoors or indoors, I usually place 2 sticks directly underneath wood with about a half inch to inch of space. The sticks light fast and burn hot. Usually last a few minutes before they completely disappear. It is also not often that I have to use more than 2, usually 2 to 3 sticks will do the trick. ... show more
