    • It's just wood but it's perfect.
We have a few fire tables and ordered a bunch of these boxes hoping it would work out. Currently using these in a solo mesa and, while I know it's just wood, it's actually perfect. It takes me less time to make a fire using this product, than it does for me to ignite our propane fire table. We ordered a second Solo mesa to replace the propane fire table because this wood is so stupidly easy to use. I spent my own money on 6 boxes of this product and I'm going to keep buying more. We get about an hour burn out of 6 sticks and can easily extend for as long as we need by placing more wood, as it burns down. It's so funny that I'm actually rating a product, wood sticks and some igniter pods, so highly. But these people just get it and their product is worthy of the rating. I bought this pack to use with my Solo Mesa personal fire pit. The fire starters work great, but you only get 4 of them and I used 2 the first time out. The wood pieces are just the right size, burn nicely, but it goes quickly so I went through quite a bit in 3 hours. It also didn't give much flavor to what I cooked over it. Overall, super easy to use and comes with a nice little carrying/storing bucket (with a lid, to keep it dry), but it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. My Solo Mesa is only 6" dia. and I went through about 8-10 pcs of wood per hour. This probably isn't very cost effective for anything larger. ... show more

I am very pleased with the packaging, presentation (bucket to hold wood appears to be very durable), and the wood is small and cut perfectly for my MESA XL Solo Stove. The bucket itself is a nice touch and will be useful in keeping my Bulldog puppy from making the wood into her favorite chew toy(s). I also like that this goes towards a small business and a great cause.     • Great product, but not as many fire starts as pictured
The product works well and we were excited to use our solo fire pit for the first time. However we only got 4 starts with the kit, but 7-8 are pictured and in re-reading the description it does not say how many starters come in the pack. The 7-8 would go with the amount of wood that was shipped. Not sure why we only got four starters.... Otherwise I would have given this product a 5 star review. ... show more
