Great value for the cost. The metal frame is very sturdy, but I wish the base spikes were shaped like an X. After using for 30 minutes, it began leaning a bit. Overall good product though and happy with the purchase.

It it held in the ground with 3 vertical prongs. The support prongs don't do anything to stop the force, of the spinning ball, from pulling it out of the ground. It needs to be adjusted after every swing, and moved to a new spot of grass every 10 swings. Also, the holes and tab were off alignment, and the holding nut tacks were broken. I shouldn't have to do the manufacturing on this product. Instead of wasting my gas & time to return this product, I'm just going to widen the holes and weld the nut.     • Good way to get more consistent
This set up very easily in the yard. The stakes hold it in place nicely. It is a handy training aid, to help you get more consistent with your swings. My son and I both had a good time training with it. The first ball we used for it has held up excellently to multiple hard impacts, with no obvious wear or tear on it. For starters, I love golf gadgets. As I don't make enough time to get to the course more than once or twice each summer I like to practice and make up skill games in my backyard to compensate. Looking at this swing trainer, it seemed like a good concept. Unfortunately, once we received and started using the product it was lackluster. To start on a positive note, the product material and craftsmanship are excellent and truly top-notch. However, the product + design itself are not the best. I kept feeling like it was missing a part even though it looked like the pictures when put together. The stakes held in the ground are nice, but the clearance room for bigger swings is tight. I had my daughter come test this out and out of 10 swings, she smacked the post 3 times. We called it a strikeout as I feared she would damage her 7 iron if it continued. This is put together well and is sturdy. The welds are smooth and the golf ball is well attached. It should last a long time but there is a backup ball too. I do wish that the stakes were cross-crossed, instead of in a straight line. With continued hitting it’ll eventually loosen in the ground and you’ll need to move it to another spot. If the stakes were in an X pattern, that would not happen. Its height is adjustable so it can be used by a wide range of age/size. ... show more
