One of the things I always hated about kids' toys was the ones that the kid would get excited about and then you find out you have to go buy some batteries or charge it for hours before the kid can play with it. That is NOT a problem with this RC car and that is just one of the things I really like about this car. First of all like I said, it comes with rechargeable batteries ready to go for the car, also included are 2 AA batteries for the controller. You might have to charge the watch controller (mine was charged) but that will not stop the kid from playing with it. The unique wheels allow it to run in almost any type of terrain and it will go for over an hour plus you can charge 1 battery while using the other one. There are so many things I like about this car I could go on but just let me say giving it a 5 Star rating was obviously a given and highly recommended. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This remote control has been lots of fun for my kids. They are ages 6 and 13 and both really enjoy it and can easily operate it by themselves. This stunt car can run on almost any surface. They have ran it all over our yard, through puddles in the driveway and over big rocks in the woods. We even took it to the beach and used it on the sand. The 360° rotation allows it to turn quickly and easily. It is extremely durable - it can flip, spin and tumble. It also charges quickly. The battery life is good and last for a while, the kids can get several play times in with it before it needs to be charged again. This car really has some speed too, it’s been hours of fun for the kids and my husband and I have enjoyed it too. ... show more

Likes: Moves in all sorts of directions. Wrist remote is pretty good (most of the time) Dislikes: There are NO instructions on how to use the other remote. Tried holding different buttons in different combos and nothing worked. If you lose the wrist remote or it breaks (made cheaply) your RC is useless. The wrist remote does not always connect or send the signal to the car. Loud. This RC is really loud. Ok for outdoors, but way too loud for inside a house. ... show more

I owned a similar version of this RC car a few years ago, before the hand gesture controls were available and my kids loved it. The ability to change the configuration of the vehicle from flat to raised on the fly makes it virtually impossible to get stuck. The vehicle can flip over and keep on going with a simple motion or press of the controls. This type of RC car is particularly fun to use on stairs or uneven surfaces, but they are also pretty fast down a straightaway. The watch controller synced up easily and takes a little getting used to, but it responds better than expected and was a lot of fun even while learning to use it. A huge upgrade from the old versions! Getting the remote control to sync was a bit more difficult... I ended up pulling out the batteries on the controller, turned the car on then put the batteries back in and it sync'd up. Once synced it functioned as expected. The instructions are rather poorly written so relying more on trial and error. I am not of fan of the loud fake engine noise although I see an option to change it, but I haven't really figured out how to change modes yet. My main concern may be the durability. As I mentioned, my kids play rough with these and the old versions had rubber tires that absorbed the impacts well. This model had more hard plastic on the tires and I foresee pieces breaking off when the vehicle flips on concrete, but time will tell. If it holds up after a couple of months of play I may go ahead and give this 5 stars because it really is a lot of fun. And I also wanted to note that this model came with a spare battery and alkaline batteries for the remote, so it is usable right out of the box and you will get extended play time with the spare battery. So I'll admit, at first, I was worried about getting this to work, as the instructions are pretty terrible..I'll admit that it REALLY helped me to have previously owned one similar to this!! 💯 At first, I couldn't get the remote control🎮 to work. I think it was because I tried following the instructions first, which is only for connecting the hand✋🏻 control. I turned that back off, turned the car back off, removed and replaced the two AA🔋s (included) into the remote control, then turned the car back on and pushed a few buttons on the 🎮 and they were finally connected!😁 When I say this thing is durable, I mean it!!! It can go flying off a curb and land just fine and keep going, it can even climb up a curb if it's not a tall one! The speed is quite impressive for a car like this as well. 👍🏻 My ten year old daughter, who has owned one of these before that was super dainty && not well put together (it broke the first time we used it at the skate park, which is just a few concrete hills basically..so it was nonsense!), loves😍 how FAST && hefty this one is! I really think this will last us awhile!.. ((I will absolutely update my review if && when it breaks!!)) I'm super grateful that they also included an extra rechargeable 🔋 for the car! It is also very easy to charge as well as to put it in the car, our last one I couldn't even FIGURE OUT how the heck the battery could possibly fit! I kept giving up till one day I finally figured it out, but none of that will be a problem with this amazing car! My video shows the car rising, going flat, doing Demo mode, and turning the first sound, which is the noise of an engine, to Music #1, #2 & #3, then it being put on Mute. I'll warn you to know how to do this prior to turning it on, so the noise can be a bit alarming with how incredibly LOUD IT IS!! I hope my picture of the remote set out like a diagram, with button functions listed, will help!! Because the one that's in the instructions is pretty useless😕.. ⚠️&&The buttons I labeled with 1, 2, 3, & 4 are basically "Move diagonally" buttons...depending on which way the car is facing, it's basically forward/left↖️, forward/right↗️, backwards/left↙️, and backwards/right↘️.⚠️ The hand✋🏻 control is super fun, not so easy to get the hang of, but keep trying && you'll get better! It's much easier to practice in a large parking lot type area, even a driveway can be a bit small for conveniently learning how to use the controls.. The lights🚨 are a fun addition that I always look for with items like this one! They are very pretty, If I could have added two videos I would have shown you it in the dark as well, but I will just suggest that if your looking for a car like this, just BUY THIS ONE && check it out for yourself!!
