I bought this item for my son and after 1 week of use, it kept shutting off fully charged then stopped working all together. I reached out to the manufacturer without a reply. So, I requested a replacement from Amazon instead. The replacement came, plugged it in to charger for the first time and it NEVER turned on! I called Amazon last week and they told me they would send me another replacement arriving June 3rd and to discard the one I had. Well, it is now June 10th and I haven't received a 2nd replacement so I called Amazon again. The didn't know what I was talking about and refused to replace the broken one and to send the old one back AGAIN! Thank god I didn't throw it away as advised from the other Amazon representative. They said there were no replacements available when I complained and told me to use the refund to buy another one. I asked, "if I use the refund to buy another one, since u stated to me there weren't any, why cant you replace it and keep my money?. They didn't have a reply that even made sense. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with Amazon, Jetson and their crappy product. I will NOT be buying this for the 3rd time and advise to stay away from any Jetson products. ... show more

I opened the package upon receipt and fully charged the battery before I wrapped it for my grandson's birthday, because I know how impatient little boys are. They want to play with new things immediately. At first my grandson was disappointed and could hardly ride it, but then we looked at the manual..... who reads the manuals (hahaha). In reading we found out that the hoverboard needs to be calibrated. After his dad helped him calibrate the hoverboard, it works and rides beautifully. He is very happy with it. Just remember, it may need to be calibrated, which is the difference of being able to ride it or it tipping over. ... show more

Update- It initially took a couple days to charge which we thought it was broken because of other reviews but after it got a charge, it has worked great since with no issues. Works great, colors are fun, and my family loves it. -We received the board and plugged it in. Charger says it was full battery yet the board wouldn’t turn on. When you would plug it in, it would flash the batteries that it’s dead. So charger says it’s fully charged while off, when you turn it on, it says it’s dead. Either way, it won’t hold a charge and won’t turn on. Very disappointing for my daughter’s birthday. ... show more

So much fun riding around the basement or hous, kids ride around on there knees for hours. Sure it works great outside too. I’m 6’2” tall 200 pounds and it’s a blast when the kids are at school, I find my self riding it around the house cleaning. So far it is a super fun purchase. I got this for my oldest daughter for her birthday, after a full charge and four hours of use, something got stuck in the wheel and the SOB broke. I recalibrated several times, and had her grandpa take a look. Eventually I just got a hold of Jetson, and they replaced the hoverboard, didn't have to send the old one back in. Knowing that, I told Grandpa to go ahead and see if he could fix it, so my other daughter could have one too. He took it apart, put it back together, and it actually still doesn't work, so whatever got stuck, just messed it up altogether. Go with a different brand, the replacement does actually seem better than this one, but the battery life is pretty pitiful. ... show more
