I initially purchased this product and was really impressed with its design and functionality—it worked perfectly for my needs. I like that it has wheels for easy movement and it is large for lots of food. However, my curious puppy found the lid to be a tempting chew toy and managed to gnaw right through it! While the rest of the product held up well, the chewed lid rendered it less useful. To solve the problem, I purchased a stainless steel replacement. The stainless steel is much more durable and completely puppy-proof, so I don’t have to worry about my little troublemaker getting into it again. Can ALMOST fit a whole 50lb bag of chicken pellets. The pellets that do not fit fill up 2 standard sized cereal container which just fine with me since I need something more portable to take with me to the coop anyways. I like the seal in the lid, it feels like a solid and snug fit. Keep it in my garage and have had not problems with pests or moisture. Rolls nicely if that’s important to you. ... show more

It's sturdy, easy to assemble as the wheels come in a package. It also requires that you put the hinged lid on the rolling base. This is also easy to do. It rolls nicely, and the wheels don't catch, which can cause a distribution in the flow if moving the bin.
