It's rather rare to find products made in the USA these days and when it's actually a high quality piece it's always a nice surprise. Do be careful to check for cracks and chips. The first one I got had damages from shipping. I can't blame the manufacturers for this problem because Amazon just didn't put in any bubbles whatsoever. It's a nice sturdy little bin. Care tip: Since this is glossy you can buff out any scratches with some plastic polish (comes in a bottle). It's a handy thing for shiny plastics that are more prone to show blemishes. ... show more

I just wanted an inexpensive waste paper basket for next to my computer desk. This one is better than the one I had in my bedroom, so it now has pride of place in my bedroom! It is sturdy, a bit larger than I expected, which is a good thing, a nice shape (not some odd variation, it's great for someone like me who prizess functionality!), and one I am certainly glad to have!
