This cabinet was super simple to put together. However, like other reviews said, it did take a long time. It took about 4 hours, a drill was definitely necessary for the number of screws. It’s very well made, and no issues with missing or misaligned parts. The screws all fit where they needed to, with no threat of tearing or loosening. Everything was clearly labeled. The instructions are very easy to follow. It looks great in the kitchen. The downsides are mostly minor. The back of the top piece was really rough and caused some splinters. However, since that entire section is hidden, it wasn’t a big deal one the board was in place. Another piece, also hidden, had a peeling finish. A piece of tape fixed the issue, but it was a surprise given that the cabinet is otherwise great quality. The worst part is that one of the handles came bent and does not match to the screw anymore. I will have to purchase new ones. Everything else is great. Some reviews mentioned plastic clips for the swing mechanism—mine has metal. It does not look like it’s in danger of breaking or tearing. ... show more

I purchased the teal double garbage cabinet and love it. The color is exactly as pictured. Great quality. Putting it together did take 2 hours, there are A LOT of pieces. But the directions are easy to follow and everything came labeled so it was an easy build.

So this is a decent cabinet, it's close to the color of my cabinets in my kitchen. I really wanted something to put the garbage in because my big can is ugly and we just redid our kitchen but couldn't sacrifice one of the cabinets to have a garbage cabinet put in since our kitchen is small. Did a little searching and saw this one. Nice, I might paint the top since I have white countertops so it will match the kitchen better, haven't decided yet. I will say, you need a lot of patience to put this together, there are a ton of parts and 30 steps to assemble! It took about 4 hours to put it together. It's manufactured wood and cracked in a couple of places trying to piece together some of the larger parts, but once it was all together, it's pretty solid. I strongly recommend using a drill! If I had to use a hand screwdriver to put this together, my review would be a lot more negative and I probably would have thrown it out the window! It remains to be seen how it will hold up, time will tell! ... show more

That being said, the instructions were decently straightforward and all the pieces came together without issue. Looks nice and fits well in the space I needed. This looks very nice. Has a nice sturdy feel. It opens and closely slowly so you can open with one hand and it doesn’t slam Shot right away. It did have a scratch on the top piece. But we were sent a new one right away. So great customer service. The assembly was time consuming. Maybe a few hours, and a second hand was helpful at times. It really makes our kitchen looks so nice without dirty garbage cans sitting out. Also the storage is nice with the two small drawers and some extra space to set things on top of! ... show more

The assembly was a little complicated but then immediately the hinges popped put of where they were screwed down on one side. A year later, the tilt hinge on the left side is starting not to work either. Top scratches easily.

This cabinet kit arrived very well-packed in the box, protected with dense styrofoam and plastic sheeting. The instructions are picture only, so study them carefully. Use wood glue in every screw hole, every butt joint, kerf and channel joint and keep a damp rag handy to clean up any glue that oozes, especially where it will show. The parts are well marked, and can be sorted out easily. The hardware is well packaged, and labeled. The two brackets marked "N", need to be attached to the bin door first, and then to the cabinet, this way you can use a power screwdriver. (It's tight, either way, but I found that taking them off, and doing it this way made using a power screwdriver possible). I had to drill about 20 holes in the three-bard-back, at the top, bottom, and sides. I built it in the front room, so cut open the box and lay it flat to protect the floor. Use clean cloth to protect the cabinet, when building the drawers and bin doors. You'll have a piece of furniture to be proud of. I worked about five or six hours on this. ... show more

While item is not high end, did not expect to initially receive several pieces with obvious thick paint runs or mismatched coloring. Reached out to seller and actually quite timely and responsive with replacing needed sections. Gray is a darker gray than hoped. Knew it would be quite large so getting used to its presence. Looks attractive and so much neater than most trash receptacles. Using second side for laundry since sits near laundry room. Drawers above are quite small but handy. After couple months the door to trash can no longer stops at several positions as did when new. Only stops at last tilt point when pulled down. Can't seem to readjust for additional, shorter stopping points. ... show more
