These trash cans fit the bill. They are a hard plastic so they are very sturdy and they hold a good amount of trash. They fit perfectly in the small area I mentioned, and I found places for the other 3. Since they are black, they don’t stand out too much so I camouflaged them in my 3 bedrooms, also.In my opinion, every room can always use a small trash can. This is the perfect shape for tight spaces. I have one on each side of my sewing table and the others are beside bedside tables. So often the standard round container won’t fit beside or behind furniture. The side cut out handles are convenient and the plastic is sturdy.

    • Perfect for using shopping bags as trash liners
I've always used old shopping bags as my trash liners, as it is better for the environment and also saves money, but many trash cans are too big for this. These little cans are perfect for a small shopping bag though. Also, they are narrow enough to fit in many small spaces where a trash can wouldn't normally fit, such as between a toilet and a wall in a pocket bathroom or under a pedestal sink, etc. The handle holes make it easier to pick up too. ... show more
